They are appealing so expect that the ban will not start until the Jan 2020 window. They will be able to get their transfers done this summer. Regarding Hazard and Hudson-Odoi, I think they will have to do something as they cannot afford to have both of them run out their contracts. Expect them to let both go and use the money to bring in 4 or 5 players to prepare for the ban.

If only there was a section on this site to talk about general football stuff, and if that section had a thread about Chelsea. It would certainly keep the area for Spurs chat nice and neat.

Maybe one day...

Wont they just use appeal system to abuse the decision and buy up everyone available over the next window to see them through that period when the appeal doesn't work lol like some other teams have done ?

It’s still two windows at some point. Let’s face it, their business model is predicated on being decisive early each window. So they’ll continue to be active during the window(s) open to them. But, unlike us they’re in a state of flux with managers, meaning who they buy one window may not be wanted 12 months later, but may still have to play because of transfer embargoes. Unless you’ve invested substantially in developing youth (generally not the case so far) or you have an amazing coaching team at your disposal who can bring out the best in players (like us) this could really sting them. And I hope it does, the spoilt twats
