I wonder if we were to win if we would shed the same emotions as we did in the semi-finals?

I really think it would depend on the circumstances of the win. If we score the the first minute and add a few more unanswered during the game we might start to enjoy it.

So basically, if we were to win it it would be exactly the same. Can’t enjoy a single moment properly until the final whistle blows. Probably 30 seconds after our winning goal.

Do you ever enjoy watching us? I don't. Love it when it's over and we've won but hate the game itself apart from us scoring.

Yep. I can’t wait for this game to be over. I’m wary because whenever I plan so much around a game it never comes off the way I want it to. Hopefully this time it will be a change in fortune.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a game in my mind so much, I’m just getting on with my day and it pops into my head that we are in a CL final :)

It is truly amazing me how many rival fans want us to win, most of the West Ham fans I know want us to win, a good few Chelsea and even a couple of gooners (one said he wants us to win because he hates Liverpool so much but he isn’t sure if he can handle us winning the CL when they haven’t which I can understand).

Does winning the Premiership (the hardest league in Europe) make you the best team in Europe or does winning the Champions League make you the best team in Europe?

Winning either the Premier League or Champions League makes you the champion of that competition, not necessarily the best in that competition. That said, the winner of the domestic league is usually the team who plays best over the course of the season, but into any cup competition that’s not necessarily the case.

Determining “the best” team will always be a subjective matter...

European cup suits a club with a strong first xi as opposed to a squad. A team that can peak in 9 or 10 games but doesn’t have to maintain that over 38 games that’s basically the difference.

Whatever happens, we’re not b***le jobs.

Tottenham has arrived on the world stage and we’re here to stay for a while yet.

Let’s make history boys.

This. It’s so good, just being there.

In a way we’ve already won. There’s zero pressure on us and Liverpool, with their sense of entitlement and with ‘the greatest team in history’, are under huge pressure to win.
They need to justify the hype and the massive spending they’ve carried out.
