I really hope we do one on them in the final.

That should keep their fans quiet.... for a week or two, at the least. No flood of Red jerseys around in public for a while too. And it gives the other ‘neutral ‘ clubs to have their turn at the scousers.

The upside, and the huge potential downfall too, is Liverpool defeating Barcelona. If we were playing the final vs. Barcelona, you'd take it as a fun day out really, and if losing it would just all have been a great experience. But since the opposition is in fact Liverpool, the desire for a win is so much stronger, and so the different emotions are invested. I hope that goes for the squad as well, that the fact that it is Liverpool improves the urge to see it all the way through.
No way. I would have even more confidence against barca. They are physically soft and can be got at. Pool are a much better side in every aspect except for possession and Messi.

I fully expect us to beat pool anyway.

Barca are so overrated it's unreal, literally rely on one player and are mentally weak.

They lost 4-0 to Liverpool without Salah and Firmino and made Origi look like peak Aguero, it was a repeat of a year ago when they got battered by an average Roma side.

Liverpool are a much tougher match up no doubt.

Not really sure I see the benefit of going away this time of year. We have the best facilities in Eurooe what’s the point of going anywhere else when it’s 20-25c outside.

Both teams forms suffered when they went away for warm weather training earlier this year, guess we think that staying in this country is beneficial this time.

Think is its forecast to be 25c for kick off on the 1st, which is 9pm local time. I would suggest a few evening training sessions in the Madrid heat building up to the final are important to acclimatise. May sound silly but the humidity/heat is different in southern Spain than 18c at 11am in NE London. Marginal gains can help, would be surprised if we didn't head out there at the latest this weekend..
