Hi guys, I can offer a space in my car. I'm driving to Madrid from Barcelona on Saturday morning and then back at midnight after the match for an early flight home.

Does anyone know someone for whom this will be helpful?

For those who are travelling by Zeelo (coach), have you found anywhere to shower/freshen up? I was thinking a local swimming pool or gym but proving difficult. Any guidance hugely appreciated.

If anyone has a hotel/airbnb, we (4 of us) will happily pay to use your facilities if in Central Madrid?

Going to check it out Sat morning, see how lively it is, if not, heading to a pub nearby or Puerta del Sol/Plaza Mayor area, I'm hearing a lot of Spurs fans drinking around there, a long line of tapas bars there apparently.

Someone or TFC has said James Joyce pub is decked out in Liverpool colours.

Hopefully there’s some confirmation of an area where the spurs fans are expected to congregate in the next couple of days.

we’re arriving malaga early in the
morning, but couldn’t book any earlier train than 2pm - meaning we arrive at madrid 5pm. really worried this is cutting it too fine to get a place in a pub or plaza bar (let alone our half-assed attempt at tout liaison) before kickoff. wondering if anyone has any idea about transferring train tickets to earlier trains, if seats become available on the day?

Here you are. Literally a public shower. think you have to pay, but you're talking about a few euros tops!

5pm is fine, if you don't have tickets (even if you did, though you would be cutting it close I imagine you'd still make kick off). Sometimes I think there are more bars in Madrid than people!

Many fans on here checking out the fan parks in Madrid at all? Or not to fussed

I think they are worth checking out, if only because they are mostly located in nice bits of Madrid. They seem to have lots of music and what not on so might be alright.

Hopefully there’s some confirmation of an area where the spurs fans are expected to congregate in the next couple of days.

That’s already been done?

Yep Colon. Though I imagine it will be anywhere between Alonso Martinez and Colon as we will be taking the metro from the former, to canillejas, which is actually an area with plenty of bars too (as long as you walk pretty much the opposite direction to the stadium for a few minutes) so no harm going a little early. Keep in mind that it will take probably 30 mins to walk from canillejas to the stadium, and there is not much to do really around the stadium (apart from some pretty nice views, and whatever they organize there).

I know some people are maybe not too happy with Colon as our meeting place, but most squares aren't big enough to host 20,000 people. Keep in mind it will be a sunny afternoon on a saturday, the centre of Madrid would be packed anyway, yet alone with 100,000 football fans.

We cancelled 1 seat on the 9.00 (whatever) yesterday.
