Anyone aware of anyone passing on travel plans without tickets ? Got a mate who has a ticket but no luck with TC and is now massively struggling to find a plan B
I have a flight that im looking to sell from stanstead to madrid and back. Leaves Thursday next week and return Monday. £430 plus name change but happy to take an offer on it if interested. Don't ask but i managed to book 2 flights for my self like an idiot.

I’d just like to make a comment from here in the US at how impressed I am with the lengths to which fellow Yiddos are going in order to get to Madrid.

It’s just a shame that the Liverpool fans had a full 24 hours to get their own travel arranged, which has left all of you with scraps to feed off of.

YID ARMY!!!

Presume no one has any flight times from Thomas Cook yet? Also does anyone know if they are running the same flights as Sporting Options or will the flights be separate?

3-5 days before departure. Won’t be the same as SO, SO have Luton, TC have stanstead.

I think there are still flights going Friday with Easyjet, but he might have to stay until Monday. Silly money of course.

Malaga on the Friday. Central apartment booked for 6 people for £285. Fast train to Madrid Saturday morning. Return Sunday morning. Flight home Monday late afternoon. All for less price than TC.

Mind you I’m getting to Madrid independently from the rest and am doing the Saturday bit separately.

Beach and bars Sunday afternoon/Monday morning.

Sounds like a good deal. I must admit, I was quite happy to pay for TC just for ease and straightforwardness.

That's what we wanted to do, but TC let us down. Some crap about 1 of our group of 5 not meeting the criteria which was crap.

Yes I had that email - and as I was the only one in my ‘group ‘ I’m guessing it was me! I would love to know the selection criteria as I know a mate (again in a group of one) in phase 2 who didn’t get on the flight; equally I know someone in phase 3 who did. Cost me an extra £500 due to the delay from TC in announcing who was successful !!

I've got 2 flights from Stansted to Zaragoza for sale - one way, 6am on Saturday morning - there's a train from Zaragoza to Madrid which takes about 2 hours and costs less than 20 Euros. You'll need to pay me to pay Ryanair 115 euros to change the names on the tickets. Offers welcome.

Rather than do connections in Europe, why not do the connections in the uk. There are loads of spaces left at good times for ‘reasonable’ prices direct to Madrid with vueling airlines, just means you need to get to Liverpool and back either side (pretty decent train from Euston I believe):

That’s from a search made just now.

Going to check it out Sat morning, see how lively it is, if not, heading to a pub nearby or Puerta del Sol/Plaza Mayor area, I'm hearing a lot of Spurs fans drinking around there, a long line of tapas bars there apparently.
