So finally get my email from Thomas Cook 6 days after booking my match ticket - feckers said no!!
I applied for our 5 trips with them on the 9th. Still a no. Fucking livid with TC and Spurs also. As ‘Official Provider’ they shouldn’t have still been taking applications a week later. They clearly fucked up on pricing point plus also don’t have the capacity or capability. Complete shambles. Already one of our more senior fans is seriously considering it. I fully also consider Spurs to be equally culpable. *Please no PM’s about ticket if he doesn’t decide to go.

I don’t understand why fans without tickets want to travel to Madrid and risk indiscriminate violence from the Spanish police.

This might be the only time we experience a Champions League final. I don't want to miss the atmosphere around the weekend, even if I can't get into the actual stadium.

I'll enjoy drinking and eating in Madrid, even if we lose, it's been a hell of a ride. But if we win, if......then the celebrations would be epic.

Problem is, all those travelling without a match ticket won’t have helped the flight pricing issue for those with a ticket, many of whom cannot afford a flight now.

If you can afford to go and can make it, you got to go even with out a ticket. The atmosphere around town on Saturday will be incredible.

Def no screens in the fan park, so it'll be a matter of getting to a pub sharpish... I think its a security thing, don't want 000s fans who've been drinking all day in one area in the evening.

There would of been fanzones with big screens here and there if Madrid had made the final

Yep, expect to hear a lot of "that's boss lad, that's sound... boss, boss, boss"

It would have been nice to go to a final and socialise not just with our fans but that of another team. Had it been a foreign side that would have been possible. But it’s not going to be with them because of how annoying they are!

I might get to James Joyce like 16:00. Not bothered about the fan park. Would like to be able to leave and come back though!

put your cardy on a seat, leave your lemonade near full and a note be back soon, that might save your seat while you go off and get pissed somewhere else(y)

Haha. Yep sounds like a plan! I'm hearing on twitter that Spurs fans are looking to drink around the Puerta del Sol area during the day as that's where they were for the Madrid game last time, there's a whole line of bars apparently.....it might be a good shout if the fan park is dull.

Hey everybody peeps!. I have a penthouse apartment on top of the champions league stadium. But I can’t go now as I have to look after my two baby alligators. It comes with free high class hookers. You’re own personal drug dealer. A carlsberg fridge wall And the end wall then opens up onto the half way line so you can watch the game in the infinity pool. Will take say £1,322. Please send me all your bank details and your credit card and your PIN number and I will reserve it for you today.

Only serious people though. No jokers.

so your the 1 that owes me rent, I own the friggin stadium and will give everyone a blanket and pillow (comfort blanket for the sad bastards, with a dummy attached) once the final whistle goes you can fall asleep where you are. special offer £5 for accommodation, and £? thousand for a ticket:cautious:

even if I went I'd not be able to drink more than 2 beers all day max, it would screw my health if I went on a bender:cry:

Guys and Girls I have a return flight from Stanstead to Madrid flying out Thursday returning Monday. Cost price is £430 plus £115 for the name change on the Ryanair ticket if anyone is interested then please let me know. Not looking to make anything out of this as the current cost of this flight is over £900. All i want to do is recoup all / most of what I have paid for it and hopefully help someone get to madrid that is currently struggling to do so. PM me if you are interested. thanks.

I’ve booked the eurotunnel for Friday coming back Monday.

Looking forward to an adventure. Fuck the Spanish police.

(I don’t mean it, I like all the police)

at least if you piss a Spanish rozzer off you won't need to worry about accommodation on the night, I reckon that's what @riggi has planed:whistle:

Maybe some people just want to be in the city to soak up the atmosphere and feel part of it, I booked flights and accommodation hoping that I would have enough loyalty points but alas, I didn’t. Just have to try and avoid situations where trouble can start and enjoy the weekend.

stay clear of riggi you might get away scott free:cautious:

Coca-cola's for you then mate. Got a mate who can't drink alcohol at all otherwise starts having seizures. Smokes like a chimney though.
