Because the CL games would not be played several months apart with a change of managers for one of the teams. Compare the teams current form and then tell me that it is a "dream" to get Utd in a draw.

I wouldnt call it a dream but we opened them up twice. if you want to look at current form we might as well concede.

I'll take any non-english team, except Juventus or Barca, and I'd prefer Porto over Ajax. But other than that I'm indifferent.

Either way, whoever we draw, we are still the North London team who has advanced furthest in the Champions League since Tottenham Hotspur reached the quarter finals back in 2011.

Miserable result last night .

Mebbe its time for a bit of good fortune in a cup draw for the first time this century . Liverpool vs City Man Utd vs Juventus...Then Juventus vs Pool/City winner in semis....

..Who am I kidding ? We all know Pool gets Porto and we get City :banghead:

Why? they are better than they were last year and will more than likely knock us out.

Everyone saying 'i want Juve so we can get revenge' yeah because its just going to be as easy as that isn't it.

It's not I want revenge, I also support Juve so would like to see my teams face off. Be better if we faced off in the final though.

So basically from a Juve perspective, you want us so that Juve can knock as out as we are an easy option lol

Interesting that this season we could again have a situation where two teams from the same country travel elsewhere to play the final. Of course Tottenham vs Man City in Madrid isn't quite as silly as United vs Chelsea in Moscow was. But (even though I know it won't happen any time soon) I'd still like to see this selecting the host years in advance nonsense abolished in favour of just using a geographically appropriate neutral venue once the finalists are known. All English final? Play it at Wembley, or if that's deemed inappropriate go to Paris or Hampden.
