Oh im still bitter. Not at the players or Juve but at Poch. He cost us that game with his trademark stubbornness(another game chalked down to Poch’s inability to manage during a game). We were tiring and needed fresh legs to keep up the pressure as that was the only way we were going to mask the deficiencies of Sanchez, Trippier and Davies. Allegri made the changes before us(actually wayyyyy before) and punished us. I dont know when/if poch will learn how to manage during a football game but i hope he does and it happens soon.
Well can't say I am bitter just sad at the opportunity lost, seize the day and all that.
Watching the game at the ground there was clearly a period when we had dropped off being on the front foot. This worried me especially as i felt that Juve realised this and upped their game. In sport you can tell when your opponent takes a break or their performance drops off and then counter punch. Juve did that as a team, not just the manager, but we carried on seemingly oblivious of the danger. Perhaps that is experience giving the players the ability to read games and adjust. However I would have thought our players had enough experience out there to see a bad moment and cover for each other accordingly. For sure after their first goal Poch should have reacted and re-organised the team. OK we did recover our game a few minutes later but by then the damage was done
