Oh im still bitter. Not at the players or Juve but at Poch. He cost us that game with his trademark stubbornness(another game chalked down to Poch’s inability to manage during a game). We were tiring and needed fresh legs to keep up the pressure as that was the only way we were going to mask the deficiencies of Sanchez, Trippier and Davies. Allegri made the changes before us(actually wayyyyy before) and punished us. I dont know when/if poch will learn how to manage during a football game but i hope he does and it happens soon.

Well can't say I am bitter just sad at the opportunity lost, seize the day and all that.

Watching the game at the ground there was clearly a period when we had dropped off being on the front foot. This worried me especially as i felt that Juve realised this and upped their game. In sport you can tell when your opponent takes a break or their performance drops off and then counter punch. Juve did that as a team, not just the manager, but we carried on seemingly oblivious of the danger. Perhaps that is experience giving the players the ability to read games and adjust. However I would have thought our players had enough experience out there to see a bad moment and cover for each other accordingly. For sure after their first goal Poch should have reacted and re-organised the team. OK we did recover our game a few minutes later but by then the damage was done

My take is that city will score at least once at anfield. Pep is more experienced at this type of game than Plopp I think it will be down to who outscores who.

That Liverpool v Man City draw could potentially play right into our hands.

It means that between the 4th and the 10th April
City play Liverpool and Man Utd 3 times in 6 days before the play us ; and
Liverpool also play Everton away and Man City 3 times in the same 6 days.......

Metalhead

But that's a debate for another thread.....

You can bet if Liverpool lose then the ref is corrupt and the city players are divers.

City should win the English tie confortably. They were terrible at Anfield that day and still almost escaped with a draw.

United have shown the way, man mark Salah and the jobs a good ‘un.

Liverfool to win the tie. They won't win the cup against other European team.

No English side winning is what I want.

Klopp said in his press conference: ‘I think it’s an absolute dream draw.... for Man Utd fans’.

Anyone watching tonight ?

Kinda sour taste in my mouth. Might follow it loosely.

It's on TV3 here in Ireland.

Can't bring myself to watch it tbh. Still hurts knowing we are out and outplayed both sides playing home and away.

Yeah I don’t think I can face watching it. Double kick in the face really.

1-0 to RM. Juventus looked clueless and passive. Maybe this "Masters of defending" title has grown old.

Conflicted as feel Juve were rubbish against us twice so nice to see them found out. However, it's just so hard to cheer for Real
