be he wasn't one of them and neither is Carroll.

There are some players who have a lot of talent but a timid personality, which holds them back from achieving their potential.

Spurs have had loads of players like this over the years. But these days, under Pochettino, these players struggle to make the grade at Spurs.

And there are some players who have moderate talent and a timid personality. These players have no chance under Pochettino.

Never heard that Tom was 'timid' before.
Certainly lacked strength on the ball
but like Eriksen adapted his game to compensate.
moderate, timid players wouldn't make it in any team in the Premiership.

Shame. After mason and bentaleb left and with the signing of a new contract I'd hoped he would have featured more.

Always a bit sad when home grown players leave but he obviously hasn't developed at the rate we hoped

I'm sorry to see him go. Never going to win the league single handed but a very good pro who regularly did a good job for us. I think the fee is a bit on the low side when I see what some players cost. Best of luck to him, he wasn't going to get many games so from his point of view he might as well further his career. Just save your best performances for our rivals mate.
