I think we've finally discovered why he was loaned out. Credit to Poch for keeping it in-house but i didn't see a lack of quality and had spent the whole season puzzled by it.

I really feel N'jie can be that electric player like Mane direct and explosive....I'd like for N'jie and N'koudou to be given a bit more time the latter imo is more skilful and a different type of player to N'jie, both these player and Onomah if they can fulfil that talent adds so many scary possibilities to this squad add to that another explosively quick player in Son, going forward tactically in certain moment are brilliant weapons for Pochettinho to use.

Posting the most vital quotes for sake of convenience:
"He must change his attitude and put in the work required if he is to turn the qualities he possesses into success at the top level.

"Even Ronaldo or Messi are always working hard; him thinking that he's the best doesn't work, it doesn't work in Marseille either.

Well that explains a lot. I thought he had more potential than GKN from the little I saw of him in a Spurs shirt, but if he's lacking focus and discipline, there's no room for him in a Poch team. I'd back MP all the way in this.
