Burnley expect Dwight McNeil and Maxwel Cornet to leave the club this summer amid transfer interest from Tottenham.

Tottenham have apparently made contact over signing McNeil, and so have mega-rich Newcastle United, who have already signed Chris Wood and Nick Pope from Burnley since their takeover. Last month, it was also reported that Tottenham are interested in activating Cornet’s £17.5 million release clause which became active as a result of relegation.

Don't think we'll sign him, but I think McNeil would be a decent addition for the right price. We're pretty well covered down the left flank now though, and even moreso if we get Richarlison.

I think Reggie will go and I personally will continue to have worries about Sessegnon staying fit. I'd only see McNeil as a RWB option. Not sure why we'd want Cornet though.

McNeil always been considered a player with huge talent/potential. Would like to see how he fairs at a more attack minded PL club but would worry the step straight up to us in our current format would be too much and he wouldnt get many starting minutes outside of the domestic cups.

At 22 the hid needs to be playing every week for a Brighton/Southampton/Palace, maybe Newcastle if they envisage he'll get the game time.
