BVB v S04
Must have been a cracker. BVB go up 4-0 in the first only to do a Liverpool and allow Schalke to salvage a point at the Signal Iduna. Bosz has surely got to go now.
I'm about toI dodn't see the game either, but I took a lot of flak for saying how disappointed I was with Dortmund against us the other night. The most abject Dortmund I've seen for years.
It was a strange choice of coach wasn't it ? He seemed to want his Ajax to play that more patient, constructed, possession type game, but Dortmund are built to be more explosive, transitionally. I don't know why they didn't make more of an effort to accommodate Tuchel, he was a much better match I thought.
Apparently the manager and some teammates have stuck the boot in for this in the press.Aubameyang was sent off too !

He clearly has issues. Won't be there for much longer but it'll be interesting to see if he can perform at another club or if he'll do a Balotelli and eventually need a completely fresh start at a less high profile club.Apparently the manager and some teammates have stuck the boot in for this in the press.
In what way ? Because he was stupid ?
Roman Weidenfeller said the forward had 'done a stupid thing' and Peter Bosz was more damning, saying he had 'ruined everything'.
Good comparison as both players have/had egos that were disproportionate to their actual talent (or at least production) IMHO. So if Auba leaves he will need an intermediate step before he settles. Diff is he is actually old. No one really wanted him this summer considering the price and his age.He clearly has issues. He's a much better goalscorer than Balotelli, to be fair.

Can't imagine that will go over very well. It is the DM so the quote may have been unmercifully trimmed but they no look good.

He is cup-tied and I imagine only the top 6 would interest him. He said he'd never play for Spurs. Not a fit for Mou or Pep. So Pool, Arse & chels?I would imagine there'd be a few takers in the PL with money to burn and the need for anyone who can score goals with a bit of pace thrown in.

He fell out with everyone, primarily the DoF type guy but also a lot of the players and the chairman. He's a bit of a dickhead by all accounts.
Yeah, I was listening to Honigstein talking about it this week. He fell out big time with the chief scout, the guy that's now gone to Arsenal. By all accounts he left there very unpopular with the board.
Actually it was more the other way round. At the time of the falling out between him and Tuchel, the board sided with Tuchel and that's what upset the scout. The Chairman/President Watzke has even come out and publically apologized to the scout for the way he treated him and admitted he should've stuck up for him against Tuchel.
