Agent not trying to bump his players price/agents fee up? Thought him to United was pretty much settled

Sounds like a negotiating tactic for Lo Celso. Given Levy's reputation for striking quick deals for highly sought after players, Betis are probably quaking in their boots that their chance to sell Lo Celso to us may have already slipped through their fingers.

Maybe you buy him and say he's a striker now because he sure can score some goals but the man cannot pass...

My United supporting boss wants United to sign him, I'll send him this link just to wind him up.

I know it's only YouTube, etc etc, but he looks the nuts.

Very much in the Eriksen mould, and oddly has almost identically replicated some of Eriksen's key Spurs moments.

Does that include the disappearing in big game moments too? Asking for a friend.

"Oh piss off, he's not going to Tottenham"

"We've been working on this deal for eight months, he's coming to United"

"He's not going to Tottenham, I won't allow it"

He looks like a prize winner whenever I see Portugal but then, Ronaldo aside, most of their players look a shadow of their club form in that national side.

His highlight reel is mad. Certainly has the long shot down which Poch likes players to have.

He’s a good player. Basically a number 10, and Sporting’s best player for the past 2 seasons by an absolute mile.

Buying players from that league is similar to buying players from Holland though, the standard is really pretty weak tbh.

Good example was Slimani who was the top scorer in the league by a distance for a few seasons and then came to Leicester and looked like a total donkey.

Bas Dost has taken on that mantle, and is another bang average footballer.

Rafa Silva looked amazing at Braga and then went to Benfica. Even that small step up in the same league highlighted that he maybe just looked good in a weaker team, and a poor league.

He might be excellent in the Premier League. Ruben Neves turned out well for Wolves, for example. However he’d certainly be more of a risk than Lo Celso.

Does it?

"We want you to pay the buy out clause".

"Ahhh ok, we are now looking at alternatives"

"Really? Well in that case well knock £10mil off"

Sound realistic?

If Spurs had the highest offer for Lo Celso and Betis really do need the money, then yes.
