Didn’t know the result when I read your post , thought you meant Broner won.

He was standing on the corner right after the bell shouting like he clearly won the fight when it was an obvious UD for Manny. Broner is a tool, also got muted on ITV4 as his first word was predictably a swear.

Edit: Badou Jack lost to Marcus Browne, was probably fairly losing before the clash of heads that caused a cut which ended up like this...

By the end of the fight, the referee looked like an extra in a horror movie.

Love how ITV are trying to push Degale v Eubank as 'a storm is coming.' 3 years ago perhaps. Today it's more like a mild breeze

George groves announced his retirement this morning.. Like him or not he gave up some decent fights. Arguably not quite world class although he won a version of the title but much better than a domestic /European journeyman.
Obviously the two froch fights.. I still believe the first one was stopped a little bit prem..what could have been?.. Would have liked to have seen him and chunky get it on again but alas not to be if injury and the desire and will Has dipped
Sure he's made a few quid.. Actually a nice guy away from the fight game if you ever meet him.. Good luck George (except for your support for that filthy small club in Fulham)

I did get the feeling after the Smith fight he might be done.

Not a massive Groves fan but seems a good guy and did his best and provided some great entertainment.

Big lad's looking in better and better shape every week, looking forward to the rematch.

Saw another pic from this shoot, he looks sharp as a tack. The suit's is a belter, fair, but the look on his face, the way he speaks, just everything about him says he's in a good place right now.

Honestly think if he gets in proper shape, he's giving Joshua big problems.

Did anyone watch Alvarez v Kovalev?

Joshua apparently set to earn $32m to fight Miller in NYC.

Some genuinely think they will get a 50/50 split if they fight him! Put it this way, $32m is $8m more than what Fury and Wilder took COMBINED when they fought each other! Joshua is on a completely different level when it comes to earnings in the heavyweight division right now.

Fury can give Joshua big, big problems no doubt. Wilder could cause him trouble too. It often gets overlooked though that Joshua gives them both absolute nightmares in any fight. Nobody is beating Joshua easily unless they land a big single shot early doors and he doesn’t recover. Fury doesn’t have that power so he’d be in for a very uncomfortable night.
If Wilder can land on him, Joshua ceetainly can!

Let’s just hope they get made

Fury signs with the promoter and tv network that Wilders promoter and tv network simply do not work with...

I had a feeling he didn’t fancy the rematch quite as much as he claimed.

The annoying thing with Fury is, unless there’s big reward he takes absolutely no risks at all. He’ll fight sub standard opposition and I’m talking Chisora, Takam, Breazeale is as good as it gets.

Your bias is pretty clear here tbh.

I just know what he’s like based on his career thus far. The only times he’s taken risks are for the world title, which everyone should take risks for, and Wilder.
He can be such a frustrating fighter. In terms of personality, I prefer him to the other two.

Boxing annoys the life out of me. All three of them not making the fights happen for whatever reason.
It actually seems Wilder might well be the most eager to get in the ring with the other two!

I went to an evening with Tyson Fury a week or so ago (mate got given them as a Xmas present and asked if I wanted to come for the record)

At the Q and A a very drunk man eventually asked him:

If you could fight anyone past or present who would fight and why?

Tyson replied:

Someone shit so I know I’d win.

Good bants and all that but I got the impression he was kind of being serious.

I don't think anyone is ducking the others as such. They know the stakes are high and want a full pay day. What I do know is Warren is being a proper little wanker these days he's like a fucking stalker at the moment lol. We've had to wait far longer for fights in the past imo at least at heavyweight. These are superfights and each of them know they could lose so want maximum payday. AJ is still in the box seat imo and fighting in MSG if he manages to KO miller impressively a fight against wilder or fury will be even bigger than it would be now. He needs to do a good promotion over there and he's laughing again imo.
