I saw a video on Instagram of Nigel Benn when he met McLellan years after their fight I have been trying to find it on youtbe with no luck. It's one of the saddest videos you can watch and really buts boxing into t
perspective of how dangerous it really is.
There may be a longer version somewhere but you can see some of it in this video starting at 31:25

The whole documentary is worth a watch.

Nvm I see it was posted above.

How in the world are the two fights that are on tonight box office worthy? Sky are some jokers. No wonder people find alternate methods of viewing.

Currently trying to find such a method!

Sky are a joke. Dillian Whyte is never a PPV fighter in a million years

Whyte is perhaps not a PPV fighter in isolation but the undercard so far has been enjoyable including Derek Chisora with a brutal knockout, and now David Price is about to fight. Everyone loves a heavyweight fight and there are 3 of them.

PPV cards are about quality, that’s the thing though. Can’t be based on entertainment to be fair.
Whyte v Rivas is a top 10 heavy vs a top 15/20 heavy. Del Boy is top 20 and the rest are somewhere between 30-50.

Dillian whyte is the latest drugs cheat

What a twat

Don’t be too surprised. He’s got previous for it

Already served a two year ban as a pro and his cheating extends to his amateur career where he was one of ( admittedly a few ) who failed to declare extensive previous fighting experience in kickboxing etc when he began boxing as an amateur, meaning he faced less experienced opponents.
Unfortunately that’s always been something that has gone on. It shows people for what they are imo.

So that’s Whyte and Tyson Fury busted now. Both confirmed drug cheats, will Joshua be next? Apparently he’s currently training in areas where random testing doesn’t take place...

Eddie Hearn will get a ton of shit for this if it's true that he knew about the failure before the fight.

Just thought after Miller and his previous not to mention recent finger pointing again at AJ he wouldn't be this fucking stupid. Idiot.

The sport is a joke. In all likelihood, Joshua is a juicehead, which would make Britain’s top 3 heavyweights all drug cheats.
Whyte should be banned for life, Fury should already be banned for life, both are confirmed drug cheats and have served two year bans. You get Hearn and Warren waffling on about it all, cheap point scoring with neither showing any hint of morality or principles, the job of a promoter I guess.

It’s just rotten to the core. I’m sick of it

Especially when one of the most marketable boxers in the world only gets a
six month ban for positive drug tests, and everyone just conveniently forgets that it even happened.

I think Joshua uses drugs to focus on his aesthetics than boxing ability, he should compete for Mr Olympia as I dont think he will come back after the Ruiz loss IMO

Joshua-Ruiz rematch happening in Saudi Arabia. What a great fight night atmosphere that's going to have.

He’s coming back and will probably earn £40m in the process too!
