MARTIN JOL has been given the boot by the Tottenham board.

The game is up for the under-fire boss after he was left out of Spurs’ new Monopoly set at the club’s orders.

Sneaky officials dumped the Dutchman from their line-up weeks ago — a sign they expect to part company soon.

Yet Jol’s No 2 Chris Hughton is included along with stars Ledley King, Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane.

The Tottenham chief could get the axe officially if his side lose to Blackburn on Sunday.

A Monopoly source said: “The game has been produced as requested by Spurs.

"They sent their list of names a few weeks ago. There were a few raised eyebrows when Jol’s name was left out.”

Legendary boss Bill Nicholson occupies the most expensive square of Mayfair, while flop keeper Paul Robinson is the property no one wants — Old Kent Road.

The special Tottenham Monopoly edition is available from Monday at the club shop, other major stores and online at www.winningmoves.co.uk

Oh, behave yourself (aimed at The Sun).

Robinson is on the 'number 1' square of the board, and this Jol stuff is ridiculous. Regardless of whether he stays or goes, he probably isn't in our top 20-odd characters of all-time, so of course he wouldn't be there. Chrissy H is as likely to be booted as Jol, but he's been here since like 1980, so thats fair enough.

Poor. Very, very poor.

So Chimbo's the one in jail then?

And what do the 'Chance' cards all reveal? Away cup ties to the top 4 sides?

Meh. I thought the play on the word 'board' was quite clever. For The Sun.

Or perhaps the reason that MJ isn't on the Monopoly board is that the properties are all current or former PLAYERS (with the exception of Bill Nicholson)!!!

Obviously the Sun has failed to remember (or couldn't give a toss) that Chris Hughton is on the board because he played for Spurs!!!

This is such a crap story!!! Bill Nich is the only manager on the board, and all the rest are players!!!! Robbo is where he is because he's the goalkeeper and, actually, Pat Jennings is also on a crap square as well!!! Talk about making shit up!!!

Even Bill Nick played for us!

In the words of another famous Nicholson (Jack):

"Well, don't I feel like the f****** asshole"

How could I forget that? I'm ashamed of myself, I really am...
