i don`t understand one thing? why the fuck everyone jump on Berbatov for nothing. Last year he said he love the club and he remain at the club with his funny salary....Berbatov didn`t say anything bad for anyone , he defends Jol , he defends the team , he take the fault when its obvios the whole squad had the fault , the media just looking for sensations and they make this story . Did everyone forget what Berbatov did for spurs last season? i know one thing for sure , when he is gone then all will realise what class he was

He did what he did. He was rewarded with an increased wage and contract extension talks. If his heart isn't with the team then it would be best for BOTH parties that they go their seperate ways.

well berbati, i usually agree to your posts, sometimes i don't ... but this one was ridiculous. get a grip.

some wanker-commentator invented a manager-berbatov bust up & it leads to 500 tons of rubbish thrown at all sides.

Mate, I feel rspect for your posts but it seems to me now that you are trying to burry your head in the sand. It's obvious Berbatov cannot stand Jol and some players at that team. Nothing was invented. I know it for sure. Berbatov is unhappy and is desperate to leave. Some great performances, scoring a hattrick etc may change his mood, but I doubt he has future at WHL. Still, I'd advise him to play at his best for all those fans who still trust him. He should overcome all negative and depressive feelings and play for them.

Berbatov was a golden chance for Spurs to progress further, to attract better players etc but they made little of it. Hopefully, they will sell him for a lot of money. That's the best they can do now.

Again, I ask you to provide a quote or source to back this claim up. You conveniently ignored it the last time I asked you to back your claims up.
Of course, if it is only your opinion, that's different, but you are stating it as a fact.

Im telling ya PLTuck...Berbati is either Dimi himself or his brother, or someone very close...how do i know this? well I dont for sure BUT...Dimi is a sensitive guy, we know this from several sources...it follows that he would want to know how the fans really feel about him and what better place than the BESTEST spurs fan forum on the planet...now Berbati speaks like he knows alot of inside info on Dimi, so I make a running leap to my conclusion!!!

As i said before to berbati - if you are connected to Dimi, then tell him we love him but what happened at newcastle was not good...all we want to see is effort...effort will reap the rewards and everyone will be happy campers once more...OK??

Nice one.

And a big yes to para 2. If Berbati would like to pass that on...

Food for Thought : When you row / fall out with someone, it's only because you care. If you didn't care, the row / split wouldn't bother you at all, much to the point of not even bothering to row in the first place.

This is all wrong. Berbatov has been affected by the four strikers worse than anyone. Everybody points to poor little Defoe, but Defoe's average at best. I would just call him pants as he's only good when he's drafting off Kanoute or Berbatov. A player that is only good when in the presence of another player is.....well it's Dawson. And they are unnecessary.

Meanwhile Berbatov is one of the best players in the league. Up there with Ronaldo, Fabregas, Gerrard, etc. As such, how frustrating must it be for a fierce competitor as he is to be only a 60 minute man? Whats he played a full game twice? He's taken off to preserve the feelings of one of our other strikers every game. If he has given up, I can't blame him. Most teams would build a team around this guy, and we can't even find time for him. We only have two world-class players: one is perpetually injured and the other is part-time.

He hasn't let anyone down. The team has let him down.

So I say that we sell him, NOT because he has offended our fragile notion of self-worth by not bleeding the colors. No, we sell him, because for all the bullshit, we are wasting his fucking talent. As a football fan, I would rather see this guy allowed to play than watch us dick around with him to keep a bunch of second rate strikers happy. So sell him to a team that will appreciate him and play him. As long I can watch him play week in and week out. And it just doesn't look like that is going to happen with the brilliant team of idiots that are managing the club.

If he keeps up this childish, brat like attitude i think our chant of ''Dimitar Berb-a-tov'' will slowly become Dimitar Fack off, Dimitar Fack off.

Just accept that I know more about Berba than all so called ITK's taken together . I told you 2 months before the start of the season that Berbatov won't accept Jol's rotation policy. My prediction turned out to be true. 3-4 months ago I wrote that Berbatov's salary is going to be raised without Berbatov signing an extension to his contract. Was I right? - Yes, I was. Already in Juni I wrote that Berbatov will go through a bad patch in the first half of the season. Obvously, I have been right. So, it's your choice to believe me or not. I don't make up stories.

No, I won't just accept it. What I will accept, is that you enjoy touting your opinion as fact.

But 1 by 1 :

a) He's a slow starter / will have a poor first half season - doesn't everyone know this? Has this not been the case for at least the last 5 seasons? Hardly worth a 'I told you so....'

b) Salary raise - this was all over the fan forums for weeks, again hardly press stopping info. Also we have done it before as a club (Defoe).

c) Won't accept Jol's rotation - well besides thinking maybe Berbs should have researched Jol's style a bit more before signing if this is true, does he think that Man Utd will play him week in, week out for eternity? What would he make of Fergie's rotation, or indeed his hairdryer? Was he never rotated at Leverkusen before a run of 6 games in 18 days?

I'm sorry, but unless you can provide more compelling evidence, I call :bs:.

And what will Tottenham win? Maybe this: Spurs fans will show to all great players out there that WHL is a good place for them.

If this is the attitude he is going to take then he doesnt play again as far as im concerned. Best player or not we need people who want to play for this team right now, players who want to get us out of this situation.

Keano is our best player...tried and tested, has passion, and always gives 100%. Never shirks an issue just gets on with it and loves playing for Spurs.

I don't want to turn on Berbs because he's brilliant, but his attitude on Monday mirrored a certain midfielder who's off in the wilderness at the moment somewhere between N17 and Birmingham.

Common Berba, take your anger out on the Blackburn keeper on Sunday mate!

He's a slow starter? Well, that's not based on any sound facts. Berbatov started his last season in the Bundesliga with scoring goals in each one of the first 5 Bundesliga games. Was that a slow start? The season before that (2004/05) he started brilliantly. Bayer Leverkusen demolished Bayern Munich with 4:1 in August, two goals and assists by Berbatov. In September 2004 Bayer smashed Real with all his great stars (Zidane, Ronaldo, Beckham, Carlos, Raul...) with 3:0, Berbatov arguably the best man on the pitch...So, Berbatov is a slow starter? BOLLOCKS!

Sorry, but you know nothing.

From Wiki :

A run of nine goals in 11 games in 2000-01 was enough to persuade Bayer Leverkusen to sign Berbatov in January 2001. Berbatov had a slow start to his Leverkusen career with just 16 goals in his first 67 appearances for the club. He did however play a crucial role in the Champions League during his first season with the club scoring a memorable solo effort against Lyon with an excellent bit of skill, as well as a goal against Liverpool in the quarter finals. He also played a part in the Final against Real Madrid coming on as a substitute for Thomas Brdaric after 38 minutes.
In 2001-02 Leverkusen were runners-up in the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal. During the 2002-03 Bundesliga season Berbatov established his place as the first-choice forward at Bayer Leverkusen but it wasn't until the 2003-04 season that he really began to shine scoring 16 goals in 24 starts. The following two seasons saw him go from strength to strength, netting another 46 goals including 5 in the Champions League 2004-05 raising awareness of his talent and generating interest from teams throughout Europe.

I also seem to remember reading an interview from his Leverkusen manager who said that Dimi is a slow starter, but more than makes up for it in the 2nd half of the season.

And from his current manager :

You want all your strikers to score. It’s not only Berbatov, but you could say he is a slow starter.
“He is always the same, even when I watched him in Germany. After scoring, he is always different.

I guess all these know nothing either.

Are you naturally stupid or just illiterate? Slow start means slow start of a given season. What you posted proves only that his first years at Bayer were difficult (and that was normal since he was 20-22), not that every season at Bayer he started slowly.

There are facts and they prove Berbatov enjoyed excellent starts of his last seasons at Bayer.

What evidence is this based on? I've read 4 reports and Jol's said "it's bollocks" in all 4 of them.

Are the media bored again? If this game wasn't isolated on it's own, and was on a Saturday, no-one would give 2 shits. It would've been the last game on MOTD and everyone would have been asleep. :-( Lousy Setantatatatatanta.

I have no evidence at all. But lets be right, Jols hardly going to come out and say anything other than "it`s bollocks"

Sorry PLTuck, I just wanted to stress that your argument is very weak. Good luck!

Look mate, I have no problem accepting that you are a Berb fan, not a Spurs fan. I also have no problem admitting when I'm wrong. I was wrong about the last 5 seasons bit. You obviously have followed Berbs through his career. I haven't and (stupidly sometimes) go by what I read in interviews etc. Last season and this he has had slow starts. I have read 2 managers quoted as saying he is a slow starter. If that's wrong then I apologise for the offense it so obviously caused you.

However, I think I should 'get my coat' from this thread while I'm still calm.

 and agree to disagree is my view.
