I presume many on here have watched Max Aarons so hopefully can enlighten us about this guy.

He has everything needed to be a top class centre back. I’d expect him to play for England eventually.

One of those were you would like to see how he does in the Prem first but then you risk the price sky rocketing.

Would be worth it for £20m in the current market. But Norwich don’t really need to sell as they are financially stable now following promotion.

Yeah I could see that. Although he sees himself as more of a centre back than centre midfielder.

Probably nothing, but there’s something I find deeply troubling about people with a first name as a surname.

This particular one sounds like he might have just asked daddy’s butler to go and fetch his Bentley.

On that evidence, would he be a good signing? No.

That’s probably harsh on young master Godfrey though...

Don't think Dier will be going anywhere. He's had a poor season but he's a very versatile player who gives us a load of tactical options. IMO he needs a Summer off (like all of our England contingent) and then he'll come back like a new player. Being able to switch between 3 and 4 at the back is such a good thing to have in the armoury and Dier gives us that ability. I just wish he'd play more like Makalele and stop trying to play like Pirlo though.

I live in Norwich and the Mrs is a season ticket holder so I watch a lot of the Canaries. Really solid centre back, big, strong, calm under pressure. Kept Tim Klose out of the team this season who was their best CB. He's a very good prospect (personally I'd like us to sign their LB Jamal Lewis).

When I was a kid, I never heard of anyone with Kane as a first name, but there are some around now, such as Kane Williamson, the NZ cricketer, for instance.
