This is currrently on bbc forum - sounds unrealistic but you never know I guess, and what with all the Arshavin speculation, I thought this would throw a slightly different possibility - albeit perhaps equally speculative.

I'm don't claim to be ITK at all, but I have a number of Spanish friends, one who lives in Cattaroja and has a friend who works for a local paper called Metro Valencia. Anyway, I've had an interesting conversation with him this evening and as Val said earlier something big is going on in Spain.

My mate confirmed that the 'Davids are coming to the Lane'..... David Villa, David Silva and David Albelda for a combined fee of £50m. Valencia are in dire straights financially and had hoped that the performances of the Spanish National Team would have increased the interest in Villa and Silva. This hasn't happened and the player's prefered destinations, Real and Barca have shown no interest.

Barca have no need for Silva because of Messi, Xavi Iniesta etc
Real have Robben, Sneider, and are targeting Ronaldo. Both Barca and Real also have a number of striker targets, and Villa is not one of them.

THFC want all three players and want the deal to go through asap. Valencia are now keen to do a deal to alleviate their finacial troubles but would face a backlash from their supporters. They have lined up Milito as a replacement for Villa to soften the blow.

Both players have ruled out moves to Italy due to the corruption and hooligan problems in Italy. Also the top italian clubs have also shown little interest.

It seems that Ramos and Gus have now convinced them that they should join the 'THFC project' and they see that if all three move, this will help them settle in London, into the club and the squad.

Again, anyone would think there's a dedicated place for this sort of stuff. :)
