'If' true quite frankly for a player who I personally don't think would even make our best starting XI then we need to move on sharpish.

To be honest if it is true it could have just been an opening amount requested by his side (i.e. start as high as you can, see the reaction and if they bulk at it work your way down).

He knows the situation at spurs.

Can't believe that he would expect to join the club as our highest paid player. Complete and utter rubbish.
