Could make a series ala Baywatch pinned back ears and all, but I would like a thread I can come to, tracking the goings on of our boy wonder abroad on and off the field.

Yes he scored last night and we will discuss that in the La liga thread I'm sure, but instead of tapping up newsnow and sifting through Spanish press releases, hopefully some of you's could add some relevant content here if there is content to boot.

I for one said I will follow his career with interest when the transfer fiasco was jigging mercilessly, and got many agree ratings, so I guess some of yew will be doing so too.

Apart from the goal yesterday he looked poor, over hit a lot of crosses, but then what do you expect from someone who hasn't had a pre-season. Surprised he started but it is what it is. I did laugh when Ronaldo didn't really celebrate Bale's goal but Bale ran over to him and hugged him though

You didn't watch it that closely then mate...Ronaldo did a double fist pump then was first on the scene to hug Bale!

I maybe need to have a look then, but it looked like Ronaldo stood there clenching his fists by his side as a half hearted celebration and then Bale went over to him.

Don't get wrong he wasn't making sweet sweet love like Bale probably wanted but Bale didn't really move and Ronaldo went up to him, maybe because he felt he had to though.

The weird bit was after the game when all the players walk out the changing rooms and past the media, Ronaldo when out first and when they all tried to get him to give a quote he just pointed behind him and went 'don't worry Bale is coming'.

He's so petty it's brilliant. I half feel sorry for Bale and half kind of he deserves it. Grass aint always greener on the other side and all that, and the guy he admires and so clearly wants to be best friends with doesn't like him We'll see how it goes anyway

No but I've made my judgement and I'm sticking with it.

He did not go to training and sodded off to Spain for a week and cowered behind his agent the entire time. I don't begrudge him going, I begrudge the way it seemed to happen.

Everyone reading into Ronaldo's body language and trying to make mountains out of molehills

Ronaldo will love playing with Bale because Bale has genuine quality, he isn't just a 'main man' he had 3 seasons of being a provider from the wing and is a seasoned pro at being a creator. Ronaldo seemed to be getting on quite well with our monkey faced chum in Turkey.
