Blows my mind that their captain refuses to train with the first team, the absolute state of that club - those sort of things used to happen to us.

Yep. That’s why we should enjoy laughing at them for things like that. Just need them to have a rubbish season next year now.

Yeah that's what's getting me, that he appears to just want them to cancel his contract!
Why the hell would/should they do that? There are situations where a club may do that, for a loved player that has served a club well but in this instance, they don't owe him anything.
Maybe the situation at the club is far worse than it looks? Perhaps he was made promises they can’t or won’t keep?

He hasn’t seemed like a bad egg before so
this hints at a club in crisis to me.

In any case it’s highly unprofessional. Sad to see at any club. Long may it continue ?

I love that they're all desperately reminding themselves of how long it's been since we won a trophy - we're a lot more competitive than they are now, in every competition (except Europa League :() and we're doing it in a much more difficult environment with grossly financially doped teams like City and Chelsea, along with a resurgent and free-spending 'pool and United with Ole at the wheel. Considering how good their team was, they really should have won a lot more than they did back then, considering Chelsea, Pool, us, and City were all fucking shite and they were only competing with United.

The quickest way to shut that stuff down is ask Goons who is more likely to win a trophy this season.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

If any of you read Football365 and their mailbox, there's a mail from an Arsenal "fan" who calls himself Stewie Griffin today that is hilarious. He's a semi-regular mailboxer who detests Wenger more than anyone I've ever come across, it's fantastic.

https://www.football365.com/news/arsenal-fuss-over-koscielny-highlights-wengers-squad-valuation-mess

He signs off with this gem.

So to all the pathetic Arsenal MAGA muppets wailing about losing another of Arsene’s world-class Losers like Koscielny, and asking why “Arsenal have no money” to spend, look to the real reason. It’s obvious (I BLAME OBAMA AND HILLARY!)
Stewie Griffin (Tottenham, in their first season after moving to a new flash stadium have broken their transfer record and signed two excellent players. I thought this wasn’t allowed eh Arsene? You. Were. All. Conned.)
