the best manager they will likely ever have, but I do think his time has passed. makes you wonder why they extended his contract last summer.

Misguided loyalty to someone who as you quite rightly say is well past his sell by date. No one wants to be the one labelled as the guy who sacked Arsene.
I'm sure he thought that was hilarious.Just had a txt off an Arsenal fan that there is a weather warning of a huge dust cloud across London today as Spurs move their trophy room to the new stadium....cheeky bastard....I would love to be able to ram that down his throat and win the FA Cup this season........with more trophies to come next year....
I've never been a fan of the man nor of Fergie. Both, like Mourinho and Conte have been whingers never content with their successes but had to blame others when they didn't win. As far as I am concerned, it was only because they were coaching wealthy clubs with the best players they that they won. Had they been with teams not In the top 4 they are not Gods and couldn't have made those teams winners. There are only half a dozen or so teams that will be be the best so very few good managers actually get the opportunity these Prima Donnas were lucky enough to have had. Who knows what the likes of Burnley's, Huddersfield's and Bournemouth's managers could have achieved if they had the squads available?
I don't wish them ill, but I have no sympathy for them when they fail.

I strongly disagree, although at times united won titles because they had the best team around - SAF always had them playing beyond the sum of thier parts! Much like Poch seem to get from our lot at the moment.
He won his final PL title with Cleverley playing CM ffs.
He was able to regenerate the team time and time again...something Wenger has failed to do so very obviously. That, in short, is where the major difference between Whinger and SAF lies, imho...
The difference between Arsene and Fergie, is that Fergie kept winning and could choose when to retire. Arsenal had more of a dilemma as Arsene was still winning UK cups and getting them through to the EC. For top 4 clubs, the ultimate is winning the EPL and EC. Year after year Arsenal appeared to be contenders for one or the other of those but kept falling short. Here was a man who had brought home league titles, FA and League Cups and a place in an EC final with a team always in the top 3. For both Arsene and the club, it was a difficult decision that, only with hindsight, has turned out to probably been the wrong decision in him not retiring 3 seasons ago.

Must be the bank holiday, or the light breeze possibly.Looks half empty.
Their home record has been good all season tbf. It's away they have failed.Winning a few games now the pressure is completely off I see.
I feel sick
