The Tottenham legend believes that a playmaker who has been linked with a switch to Spain should be offloaded as he is no longer fully committed.

He seems to be dithering about and the club can't afford to mess about while he waits for an offer to come in. I doubt Poch will suffer too much of that so I can see the club pushing to get it resolved one way or another. Of course, Eriksen could sign another contract but failing to do so won't endear him to Poch and doesn't show any sort of committment, hence why I can see Levy pushing to get him gone.

He is stalling on new contract because they haven't offered him enough money. Players like Eriksen should be on top money otherwise he could well leave. Besides that the most likely club he will to go to, have just signed Hazard and now want Pogba as well, there is only so much even clubs like Real Madrid can fork out for players.

Think just about every Spurs fan has read the reports (going back many years) that Erisken would like to play for one of the Spanish giants at some stage in his career (primarily Barca if i remember correctly). Absolutely NOT about money, although obviously he'll be handsomely rewarded should he join. If it was about money, he'd have signed extensions and increases with us first....but then left anyway.

If he doesn't sign for one of the Spanish clubs or German giant's Eriksen could sign new terms at Spurs and that's a good thing.

He is a fantastic professional I reckon once it's settled either way he'll fit back in

If you rate Eriksen or not it does not matter we are getting to the point where he is holding things up big time almost to the point where he is stinking the place out. If no move transpires we will have a player who still wants out and of no transfer value . this situation is a complete pain in the backside and I question how many would side with him if he is still here next season because if he played like he has for this last 6 months he would not merit a starting place in my opinion. I just hope we can clear the air and move this man on to Barca which is his preferred destination but if he had to he would go to Real Madrid or are there other places he is willing to go to as it seems so that to him we are not a club to be at . To me he his showing very little respect for spurs or their fans and in life you reap what you sow.Next season if he is still here he would have to make a big step up on the last 6 months performances for me to say lets forgive and forget. Overall I think he has crossed all his bridges and its best for both parties if he moves on even if its not Real or Barca.
