Will be heartbroken now if we don’t get him!! ? ?

Jokes aside, and no idea if we are interested given the tenuous link, but he seems strong, skillfull, composed, good with both feet and has a thunderous shot. He also seems faster than anyone we currently have. I don’t mind that he’s 25 and yet to establish himself internationally or with a top club/ in a top league, neither had Mahrez while Salah posted very similar stats in the two seasons in Serie A before joining Liverpool that Plea has in his past two seasons in Ligue 1.

That's probably a fair comparison actually. Bit more prolific than King albeit in a weaker league.

Never heard of Plea but looking at news over the last few weeks the teams looking to sign him from Nice are Monaco and Dortmund, that is encouraging as both have historically had better scouting of forwards than us.

If it completely falls through then the only Martial alternative I want to see us try for is Hirving Lozano. Failing that, Messi I guess.

I can't tell if this Plea link is real or not. It matches ITK of an alternative to martial from abroad at around 20m and does have Levy written all over it. The journo also supposedly has close ties to Nice. However, it could easily be either us or Nice spinning the media to get United to play ball for Martial (or in Nice's case, get Gladbach to pay up for Plea faster). Will have to see how this plays out.

Would be a perfect back up player for Kane in my opinion. Doesn't need the team to play to his strengths, his pace and power will always be a threat. Versatile, can play no 9, wide and support. Only season as a starting 9 he scored 16 in the PL. Hardworking, does what he's told by his manager. Gives a lot of the same as Vardy would, just younger. Home grown status as well.

Entirely possible or there has been enough time since that happened that enough people at Spurs know it so the person sharing it doesn't feel like it would put them or a friend at risk to share it.
