Don't see this one happening, not at that price for sure. Baldini needs to prove he can buy value, and don't think we'll have endless funds this summer. Midfield already overcrowded so I expect our focus to be:
A decent left back
1-2 centre halves (depending if Verts goes)
1-2 strikers (at least Ade or Soldado will go, maybe both)
A young GK to understudy and replace Friedel as No.2
A replacement for Lloris if he goes
Maybe a winger too

That already adds up to alot of players and changes for a team craving stability - up to 8, or 4 in the best case. Why Baldini would chase a 16yr old midfielder (apart from his girlish looks) with that in mind is beyond me.

Agreed. Now if Chadli and Lamela get their shit together, the need for a winger goes away in my opinion. I'd keep Soldado over Ade in a blink provided we land a Javier Hernandez type to boot. Soldado's been a lot more consistent in his play and contributes so much more to each game than the other forwards, and links up really well with Eriksen.

But then Ade has scored goals and Bobby hasn't. If the rumours linking Soldado with Athletico Madrid as Diego Costa's replacement are true then I can see him wanting that move and us agreeing to it anyway. As for Ade, if his wages are about to increase to £130,000pw then it may be time to cut lose - we seem to be chasing Jackson Martinez and Javier Hernandez though I'm not convinced either will come, or will be prolific if they do.
