I've got a bit of a soft spot for Everton (except for when they're playing us of course) so I'm happy Gomes has worked out for them and him. He's shut a few people up last season.

Technically a brilliant player. However his work rate and stamina, as mentioned, were atrocious at times last season. Hopefully for them he can improve on his fitness - he'll be a good player.

That said, he's a level or two below what I'd hope for us to be signing, I'm glad we gave him a miss.

Good signing for Everton - he is a talented player. I'd want somebody better for us though.
