Alli leaves even the Germans envious of his brilliant talents

We all hope he lives up to the hype and expectations, of course. A huge thing in Alli's favour, apart from his obvious ability, is his strength of character and purpose. Growing up on the mean streets of Milton Keynes ... Harlem and Compton are a walk in the park.

Media bigging our boys up all week. I just don't see them becoming better players because of the hype. For me, it can only lead to bad things as they are very young and may let it go to they're heads if they're not careful. I can also see us having a bad start to next season with all our players burnt out over the summer.

Ye of little faith...our players are well looked after by a manager who knows what he's doing.

I love this line
Alli’s best position still has the pundits ruminating. There ought to be an Act of Parliament to stop him ever being trapped as a holding player.

Like the bad start we had to this season with this forum canning Levi again and also complaining about Poch's football?

What have the Germans said to show envy btw?

You're saying that bad start didn't matter?
If we'd won the first 2 instead of losing and drawing we'd be top now.

He's going to be a terrific player when he gets to his peak. That's maybe half a dozen years away so the best we can do is make him want to spend a decade with Tottenham, something good is bound to happen to the club that holds on to him.

If we'd have beaten effing Leicester at home (like we should have/deserved to), we would be top. Now that is worth bemoaning!!

Or Stoke, or Everton, Liverpool, Chel$ea, or Newcastle. I mean this is the very reason the argument is futile. What, if's and maybes are what any fan from any side could say?

You'll all getting your knickers in a twist over this very simple-to-grasp point that I've made lol. All I'm saying is that if you're looking for one result to complain about, that it was the defeat at home to our main rivals for the league.
