God no - even behavior aside - no way does someone who’s been off a whole season pretty much go from 50 to 120!

If that’s the numbers being discussed (& I appreciate it’s your thoughts only) then no way is it worth that risk. No guarantee he’ll be a shadow of that identified potential imo. If it were me, & one was talking round those figures I’d let someone else take that risk & concentrate on Sanchez & bring in another prospect

100k tops, if Poch can forgive him.

I think we need to be realistic and accept the situation. He was at Southampton and did the same there. Some spurs fans were even calling for him to go on strike if I remember correctly. When it's a player we want it's cool but when it's one of our players it's not.

I would absolutely love for him to sign a new contract but either way I'm not going to make a fuss about it. It may well be that he has been ill-advised by his father (which has been suggested). We're just going to have to wait and see how this pans out

As far as I know 120k is what we offered him when he was out with his hamstring injury. OK, he's allegedly been a prat and he may have caused proper problems behind the scenes, but he's a top player who wants a last big pay deal which is commonplace. I don't think giving him a public smack on the wrist is called for. If he was worth 120k a few months back, he's worth it now. Any disciplinary issues should be dealt with separately.

In fairness theres a lot less to forgive... i struggle to see what, if anything, Toby has done wrong.
Really? Probably because you are of the same mentality, weak and untrustworthy. If he wanted to stay he would have the balls not to let his agent and father dictate to him, , especially to go back on his word. He should get rid of his agent and tell his Dad to go and smoke a pipe, as it is obvious they are only looking out for their own interest (money) and not Toby's

And what about your personality then? Gullible and stupid by the looks of it...

Please stay you've been our best defender since the King. I don't know what's gone on behind the scenes but what I've seen on the pitch you're welcome at the Lane for as long as you want.
