This is good news, the subs bench should be a bit stronger with decent options.

Aurier is such a loose cannon, but Trippier's form is very poor. Maybe this is the type of game for a loose cannon to shake things up a bit.

Yes:

There were a couple of returning faces as Erik Lamela and Jan Vertonghen, who trained in a face mask after his nose injury, joined in the session and both are available for selection for the match.

Serge Aurier is back in training but has been left back in the UK to train at Tottenham's Hotspur Way complex as he looks to regain his fitness.

Had hoped Aurier would at least be on the bench. Glad Lamela is back can hopefully give us 20 minutes in the second half.

Was interesting that Ajax didn't cope so well with the physical game and just wonder whether Poch might start with 4231 with Llorente up top or go with a more mobile 433 with Eriksen dropping deeper and Moura starting.

At least feel like we have options rather than replacing the fullbacks.
