Match
: English Premier League - Day 30

When: 11th March 2018

Kick Off: 4.00pm

Stadium: Vitality Stadium

Referee: Mike Dean

Team Form: Bournemouth___ WWLDD________________Spurs___DWWWL ___ (All competitions)

Bournemouth have lost 4 of their 5 EPL meetings with us, with the exception being a 0-0 in this exact fixture last season. Our only defeat against The Cherries in any competition was in their only non-EPL meeting with them a 1-3 loss in the FA Cup in February 1957.

Bournemouth also aka The Cherries, haven't scored in any of their last 4 EPL meetings with us, with Matt Ritchie's strike 49 seconds into their first ever such meeting with them remaining their only goal in this fixture. They have kept just one clean sheet in their last 16 EPL games, with that shut out coming in 3-0 win at Stamform Bridge.

However The Cherries have only lost one of their last 10 EPL games (W4 D5) - only us have lost fewer over the last 10 (0)

We are unbeaten in our last 11 EPL matches, winning the last 3 without conceding. We last won 4 in a row while keeping a clean sheet in April 2017. No side has won more points from a losing positions in the EPL than The Cherries this season (13), although we have won 17 of the 18 league games in which we have taken the lead this season, only drawing 1.

This will be our esteemed Manager's 144th EPL game in charge of us. No manager has taken charge of more in the EPL, level with Harry Rednapp.

Harry (Kane) has scored 13 away EPL goals this season so far. Only 10 players have ever scored more away goals in a single EPL campaign, with Kevin Phillips holding the outright record - 16 in 1999 / 2000. Kane has scored 6 goals in his EPL games against Bournemouth, including a hat-trick on his only previous visit to the vitality stadium (5-1 in October 2015).

At the end of this match we will know whether it will turn out to be one of our worse weeks this season, having just dropped out of the CL race on Wednesday and then lose this match. Or will we pick ourselves up and beat Bournemouth and move above Liverpool into 3rd. Its over to you Poch and the players, lets brush this aside and move on, COYS!

Looking forward to this game because as Bullet says it's our chance to move into 3rd at the bin dippers expense. I do so hope that Mauricio is able to motivate the squad for this game as we fans are desperate for a top 3 or 4 finish after Wednesday's disappointing game against the Old Lady of Turin.

Like Spurs, Bournemouth tend to play the ball out from the back and through midfield. They like to get the ball down and play football ( always find that sentence odd )

Anyway, high press, and dominate midfield, I think we should create enough to win...I can see Kane bagging a couple today.

Need this win...all the media drooling over Liverpool and their attack, meanwhile...the Spurs go marching on...and into 3rd at their expense.

COYS!

Life is just a bowl of cherries.
They don't writem like this anymore.

People are queer, they're always crowing, scrambling and rushing about
Why don't they stop someday, address themselves this way?
Why are we here? Where are we going? It's time that we found out
We're not here to stay; we're on a short holiday
Life is just a bowl of cherries
Don't take it serious; it's too mysterious
You work, you save, you worry so
But you can't take your dough when you go, go, go
So keep repeating it's the berries
The strongest oak must fall
The sweet things in life, to you were just loaned
So how can you lose what you've never owned?
Life is just a bowl of cherries
So live and laugh at it all

Let's not be greedy just one cherry will do.

After the highs and lows of the recent League/FAC/CL matches I am very pleased to report the match day buzz
Is still ongoing.

Emotional roller coaster ? Love it.

Which Spurs will we see today? The old Spurs, down in the mouth feeling sorry for itself! Or a new Spurs, angry, spitting fire and determined to destroy the next opponent!

I hope we go out with guns blazing for this match. Leapfrogging Liverpool for the third spot would be a perfect answer after our abrupt ending in the CL.

This is arguably where you set the tone for the rest of season.

How often do we see examples of when the first defeat in a while comes along, in an important match no less, that the worm begins to turn a little and 1 or 2 other poorer results quickly follow suit ?

If we can pull out three points here it will be massive to the players and be a great launching pad for the run in. Move into third and make an assault on the FA Cup.
