It's too bad that a talent like Rabiot ends up ruining his career because he is a sulky little fucker. If it weren't for their poor attitude, both Bentaleb and Taarabt could have been playing the final on Saturday. Instead they ended up in the reserve team for Benfica and Schalke. It just shows how much a bad attitude can ruin a career and talent
Not defending him but at least Bentaleb grew up a bit, confessed he'd made mistakes and wishes that he'd been more patient.

Agree but he’s back in the U23 side now after several «incidents».
Is he? Lol. Silly lad. Shame, he's a decent talent. Not sure he's on the same level as Rabiot though. I would have liked to see Rabiot come to us, but he hasn't covered himself in glory that's for sure.

He and his advisors are clear massive numpties. Would steer well clear here, it’s like meeting a girl on a night out who is fairly fit but clearly an absolute loony too . Rolling the dice ends badly 9/10

It's not so much his fault, it's his mother #NormaBates!

Practically the only person who wanted him out of PSG is leaving, Henrique, with leanardo coming back who wants him to stay so reckon he will end up signing a new deal as he doesn't appear to have too many top clubs chasing him.

Wait so Rabiot’s mother is dead and he is dressing up as her, acting as his own agent? What a psycho...

In seriousness, though, I thought he had ditched his mum as his agent? Sure I read a few stories about it after the winter window closed.
Mirror quoting a Le10Sport article saying Leonardo at PSG is negotiating with Rabiot and his mother regarding a new contract...?! https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/adrien-rabiot-transfer-saga-takes-16470403

Presuming that his Mother will be demanding a spot in the dugout and a leading role in team selection and tactics.

All I’d say, after reading that report and specifically seeing it talk about him as being a rich boy who cries to his mummy, is that in France footballers who are seen as coming from privileged backgrounds tend to be treated like crap, as if they don’t deserve to be playing with those who have come from tougher childhoods. Gourcuff’s international career was pretty much destroyed for no reason other than he was seems as a fancy rich kid. Therefore, while I have no doubt that Rabiot has not done himself many favours, I’d not be surprised if some of the bad press he gets is as a result of an anti-middle class prejudice.

there does seem to be some truth in the general theme, especially past french squads, but lloris is captain....

Doesn't seem to have harmed Lloris although I suppose he has been playing in London.

Along with global warming and world hunger, the discrimination against whiny little rich kids is one of the biggest issues world leaders simply must solve. It cannot go on like this. Our French counterparts are so far behind the UK in this regard, over there they are ostracised for their entitlement in the most depressing way, while here we make them Prime Ministers.

I expected someone to respond like this.

Does being privileged make it ok for others to physically intimidate and abuse you, damage you personal possessions and be insulted?
