TOTTENHAM have reportedly joined the race for Adrien Rabiot.
Spanish newspaper Sport claims the Champions League finalists, Real Madrid and Juventus have all thrown their hat in the ring for PSG’s contract rebel.

Spurs have joined the race for PSG contract rebel Adrien Rabiot
Rabiot has confirmed he will leave the French champions on a free transfer this summer.
And there are a host of clubs scrambling for his signature.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have all been linked with Rabiot.
But Spurs could be in pole position for the 24-year-old after setting up a European showdown with Premier League rivals Liverpool next month.

Mauricio Pochettino is ready to bring in quality signings after over-achieving with his current group of players.
And getting a player of Rabiot’s calibre for absolutely nothing is too good of an opportunity to ignore.

Spurs have already been linked with Leicester loanee Youri Tielemans.
But the Belgian, 22, could cost over £40million after attracting interest from other clubs - including United - due to his strong performances this term.

Spurs are also hoping to save enough money to tempt Gareth Bale back to the club.
The Wales winger looks certain to leave Real Madrid this summer, with Zinedine Zidane signing Eden Hazard as a replacement.
However, Bale is currently uncertain over a return to his former stomping ground, and Spurs know they will need to provide a juicy pay package to secure a second spell.

This link is back again. Quality player but I do worry about the baggage he seems to bring along with him. Being on a free he'd surely command crazy wages above our pay grade too. Sport is one of the big Spanish newspapers.

He never denied our interest though I believe, but did give the impression that the player has always thought he was above us and thus a move was never really on.
Perhaps the new stadium and at the very least Champions League finalists may increase our reputation amongst these kinds of players. You would hope if we win it, that in itself would be enough incentive for players to come join us. Onions, of course.

You'd like to think so for sure.

I'd be a bit concerned about him if he signed for us though, as talented a player and as he is. That said every top club should at least be considering him on a free.

This is why I think we should be in for him. We're only really stumping up wages and other contract bits. Isn't he still relatively young? Plenty of time to grow and improve both on and off the pitch.

The problem with a free transfer is that they usually want that added to their wages (Ramsey getting £350k apparently!), which can cause friction, especially if the player acts like a bit of a dick behind the scenes. The Pogba-effect.

Seems a player that feels he's bigger than the club. Or being told that he is. Unless that changes and he wants to be a part of spurs then a no.

Just watched gary nevilles interview withe patrice evra. They talk in depth about the mentality of players and the sacrifices they have to make for the club in order to be a success. That is what we need. Players that are 100% committed to spurs.

Can’t wait for him to finally sign somewhere...and then immediately angle for a move and see us linked again in January.
