Which is no doubt what PSG will be trying to do. They'll want to sell him this window. It's up to Rabiot to either call their bluff/accept 6 months of not playing to secure the best possible deal in the summer. Paredes coming in certainly strengthens PSG's hand.

I'd imagine our offer has been left on the table in the hope he doesn't want to risk missing half of a season. The question is if anyone more attractive makes an January offer before then.

Even if he isn't good enough to start in a fully fit XI, is that not what we need anyway? Our options off the bench currently are very limited.
