With regards to the off the field stuff with him and/or his mother, Rabiot is still young enough that he has plenty of time to improve his mindset. Poch is a man manager, one of the best around. If Poch is to talk to him personally, we have a very good chance.

Aurier becomes very professional on the pitch and in the changing room. Still some issues off the pitch (the girlfriend issue), but Poch is the best manager to deal with this kind of issue.

Also I think we have got some of his friends (Aurier, Lucas) and French big brothers (Hugo, Sissoko) here.

I don’t think he’d be here long if we did sign him. Either he’d flop and we’d sell him or he’d do really well and the minute he does he’ll be pushing for a move to elite clubs, so if he signs a 4 year deal we’ll likely have him for 3.
3 good years might be worth it though, he’s probably the best CM we could currently afford and if we did sell Eriksen in the summer we could spend most of it on a replacement rather then splitting it across CAM and CM.

For the ‘reputed’ transfer fee, he’s actually a high calibre player in our price range. Supposedly around £10m gets the deal done, and since the fee is lower due to contract, than his actual value based on ability, may leave some flexibility over wages. Sounds like he had his heart set on Barca and has been waiting, but the De Jong deal should put paid to that. Can’t see them signing both.
As for his attitude, hopefully a fresh start is what he needs. Familiar faces at the club could help. He would definitely be the sort of calibre player to come in and help push us on. Playing as LCM in the current system would suit him, Dembele replacement as left footed CM. Seeing as he’s cheaper than De Jong, could leave sufficient funds for additional signings.

JJ on Twitter land when asked if Rabiot is still going to Spain (Barca).
“We don’t know anymore and as obviously something had changed”

Looks like we are getting gazumped by *Checks glasses* Huddersfield?

Might be a bogus account but if the right demands are met, it could be a posibility. Look at sought after Max Meyer, went to friggin Palace

And then followed it up with "For us not happening - good player."

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. He's no Josh Onomah anyway...

Let’s just go balls deep in Poch’s apparent youth-focused ethos - throw that 11 year old kid that did skills on the YouTube vid in as Kane’s stand-in.
