Why do you think we’re even chasing this still? No tangible link after jj shot it down again.

I don't get the idea of Winks passing backwards either. When he does he constantly move to get the ball back and forward. I would argue his biggest problem is running to long distances with the ball. He brings it forward brilliantly but often he runs with it too long of a time. He needs to pick the pass faster. But he will definitely learn that the more he plays.

Anyhow a player like Rabiot would be brilliant for us to get. Not that I believe we will.

Not many players go to the Bernabeau and control the game like winks did. The guy is going to be a class act. If he can stay fit he is only going to stronger and better.

What I don’t get is the completely different ITK that we get - not so much with Rabiot as no one has been particularly positive about the chance of signing him - it’s getting on one hand - ‘there is money available’ and on the other ‘we’re skint’. That’s not exactly what one would call semantics, that’s totally polar opposite information.

There's always the option to form your own opinion!

I’m of the mind that it’s a case of there being money but not for the level of player that Poch wants so he would rather go without. It’s frustrating but what is the point of his buying more players that we can’t get rid of?

Because it's a pointless discussion and then when we don't sign him after the deadline, people will complain that we haven't signed him even though a very well respected ITK has said a few times we were never in for him. Why discuss a player who we're not in for?!

Again, why does it matter to you? Just don't take part in the discussion.

Perhaps if we called the stadium 'The Adrien Rabiot's Mum (Not at all Mental) Arena' we might be in with a chance. It's a long shot I know.

Oh my lord. Ok back to watching the Netflix series about Ted Bundy. There’s more gleams of light and happiness there than in our transfer windows.

Weird that there's a Ted Bundy film coming out this year too (this is now closer to transfer activity than Rabiot is)
