Surely Rabiot moves somewhere today.
6 months left, playing in the reserves... Why waste 6 months not playing and sign on a free somewhere? Surely the clubs interested in him on a free would be interested now also and would rather get the guy in earlier/not leave him rusty.

As time ticks on today, does it give us more hope or is this completely over?

Some part of me was hoping that during last night game, the cameras would find Rabiot sitting in the stand and watching. Best confirmation that player is ready

He's not even playing with the reserves/U20s, AFAIK, just training with them.

The family is in mourning at present, so securing a transfer may be very far down their list of priorities today.

I reckon he’ll sit it out until the summer and probably sign for Juve. They always seem to pick up transfers like this.

That is correct. Been ill over many years now. Invalid state towards the end. You're of course correct. Not thinking of transfers right now.

Also for him waiting another 6 months will probably be in his best interest as would get a bigger signing on fee with a club as well

Bigger signing on fee, agents/mums fee and wages. Plus his pick of clubs. Only downside for him is half a season on the sidelines but that's not enough to make him consider a significant career move right now.

PSG obviously would rather sell up, but it's not their call. I guess the player will hope PSG reintegrate him.

Or not. 6 month paid holiday, with respect to keeping fit in the gym and playing the odd reserve game would be lovely.
