The link makes sense to Arsenal only because of Emery - other than that, that would be a packed central midfield, ignoring the fact they are supposedly on the verge of signing Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria ...

As for us, again makes sense but they don't need to sell now they have shifted some players. I can imagine him slotting in easily to our central midfield, would be a cracking addition.

Seems more a shot at getting a new contract than anything else.
