I don't thing AWB is priority imo.
I think Ndombele, Lo Celso and Sess is the 3 priority imo.
Crystal Palace won't let him go on a cheap.
£60m is imo is over valued

Surely a RB is more of priority than Sess

(not that I wouldn't love to sign RS)

Even if we spend big on AWB, we'll probably recoup £20m from the sale of Trippier or Aurier

So really you're looking at £40m for a very talented HG right-back, who's 21 y/o
Levy wont be spending £60m on 1 player this summer even if Messi was available for that. Hell, it remains to be seen whether he intends to spend £1m this summer. We’re hundreds of million in debt with the stadium and Joe doesnt help.

It is manageable debt though especially when you add a naming rights package to the yearly repayments.

I do think, however, we have some issues in recruitment between the scouts, Poch and Levy. Last summer showed that.

When you say "near", how much are you thinking?

£45m? £40m?
I don't think he is a £40 million pound player either, and again I hear people saying 'this is the market though' and honestly, I think it's bollocks.
£40 mill should be his ceiling.

Being in debt doesn't mean we won't spend. Most people with a house have a mortgage, but spend money on things that will improve their lives. We made a world record profit last year. We can afford to buy a few players and make the loan repayments.

Herc has said in the ITK thread that "we will not be spending silly money on AWB."

I think it's fair to say that we won't be getting involved in any bidding war with Utd if it's going to get up around the 60m mark - which seems likely.

I personally hope he stays at Palace this summer and has another full season with them at least. There's no rush for him to go anywhere and if we can focus on CM and spend our money there this summer then there's no reason we can't come back for AWB next summer when we have less needs to fill in other areas and could spend bigger money on that position.

I think it's more likely we shoot for a player like Youcef Atal, he'll be much cheaper at this point but would still potentially strengthen us in that area of the pitch if he can adapt at such a young age.

Why are you all responding to Yank at all, people bite every time, he types the shit he types to get a rise.

Crap on a cracker.

Fair enough.

I'd say all things considered he was £50m and the extra £10m is a premium to get the player in before anyone else does.

Onions and all that...

We sold Walker for how much? How important was he to what we did? Not sure AWB offers that at all. The premium United are paying shows the gulf that still exists between us and the very top tier.

Onions.

Palace are within their right in wanting top dollar it looks /sound that price is 60M. For that price they can stuff themselves we need to look elsewhere , no doubt we will the thought of Trippier next seasons doesn't sit well at all. I still think Aurier can do a job but it doesn't seem like Poch trust him or fitness is a massive issue as for KWP if he couldn't dispose Trippier on one leg last season the writing on the wall looks pretty clear.

Hopefully AWB takes a good look at some of United's younger signings and realises that it may not be the best club to continue your development with.

This maybe the case but either way . If we are looking at spending around 140-150m on sessengon, lo celso, and tangay. Can’t see us spending 50m on a right back , be amazed ..

No I don't think either. Hope it makes AWB stay put though as we can go in later on if so
