Interesting! Torres, Dzeko and Glen Johnson are on quite scary wages.

Also ~25% of Chelsea season ticket money goes straight to Torres.

It's very scary what some of these players are being paid. And a big reality check for THFC as we've been linked to a a fair few of them...

Glenn Johnson, the 19th best payed player in the world? Wayne Bridge 43rd? Is this some kind of joke gone wrong? Maybe someone added an extra 0 to their contracts, do they have the same agent?

That's a good point, Ji-Sung Park is on 73,000 (euros) per week and he's last on the list. We'll need to risk unsettling some of our top earners if we want to sign a quality striker.

Championship Player, Craig Bellamy, in there. Although I reckon its City paying his wages.

It must be great to Yaya and Kolo's niece and nephew!

Joint 43rd - Wayne Bridge at West Ham

He earns more than Berbatov.

Interesting that players at clubs like Schalke, Sevilla, Wolfsburg, Marseille, Bremen, Leverkusen all have at least one player there compared to our none.

I think generally most people assume that despite not paying the top wages in England we still pay more than most other european clubs barring maybe 4-5 of the top ones.

The problem in England is that we pay good wages for mediocre players. You look at AC Milan they have some big earners but on the whole their wages are quite modest (half that of City). We need to follow suit and put our best players on big wages and get rid of the likes of Bentley, Keane and replace them with young hungry cheap alternatives. Then if they make it put up their wages.

A lot depends on perception of your club by these cheap alternatives though, a decent player being offered a squad role at Milan would perhaps accept a more modest wage when signing for them than he would at a less prestigious club, as it would be an honour to be playing for Milan.

Same players when coming to us, would very possibly be asking fo more money and as such not be such a cheap alternative.

Having said that I'd be surprised if even squaad players at Milan, like Jankulovski for instance, weren't on a hefty wedge, with the young players being the cheap ones.

We need the new stadium sooooooooo badly, also get rid of the top earners that aint performing. Id say Keane, Crouch, JJ, Bentley are all on above average wages with in our wage structure, get them out.

I'm surprised Rossi isn't on the list. Didn't Harry say he was on £100K?

May-be but I thought that Levy was the man when it came to making deals. £60K a week, plus appearance money, scoring bonus, performance bonus etc. But may-be we just left it too late in the day to put together a deal like that?

Some strange ones on there, if it's true.
I'm sure Liverpool didn't need to pay Carroll £83k per week to get him to sign!!!
Vidic and, in particular, Sneijder seem like bargains.
