Pochettino: Tottenham gave Man City 'massive gift' in opening goal

Jonathan Northcroft (old Uni buddy of mine and one of the best Journos out there) nails it in his Sunday Times report.

Pochettino: Tottenham gave Man City 'massive gift' in opening goal

Chap - we have never met...but generally we sing from the same song sheet and you and I have similar opinions about the wonderful THFC. I enjoy this site immensely - and in general I get good feedback. But every once in a while I clash with A&C - who happily and randomly wields his moderator...

Pochettino: Tottenham gave Man City 'massive gift' in opening goal

Yeah because GoalKeepers like Lloris will never be able to kick the ball and start an attack as accurately as Ederson and therefore the mere idea of that as an alternative strategy is beyond comprehension. Jeeezzzz!

Pochettino: Tottenham gave Man City 'massive gift' in opening goal

Oh and P.S. Please do not and do not ever presume just because you are a moderator that you can throw out judgements and declare someone is embarrassing themselves...that's absolute fucking pants mate...I thought you were 1) better 2) nicer 3) smarter than that. That's a fucking lame retort of...

Pochettino: Tottenham gave Man City 'massive gift' in opening goal

Oh dear really? This is your response....about as predictable as MoPo Plan A....take that chill pill mate...I'm just venting.

Pochettino: Tottenham gave Man City 'massive gift' in opening goal

Yeah and because you have the front to mediate and believe that whatever you say is correct...yawn.

Pochettino: Tottenham gave Man City 'massive gift' in opening goal

My Sunday night finale and a reality check for you all..and this comes from the inside..and a highly valued insider... 1) Dembele is spent. 2) Dele is not the player he was because he believes too much in his past years "wake" - he's become, and I quote " a nasty little shit".who has gone...

Pochettino: Tottenham gave Man City 'massive gift' in opening goal

Almost funny A&C if it wasn't so self assuming and congratulatory A R S E. would be appropriate.

Pochettino: Tottenham gave Man City 'massive gift' in opening goal

Almost funny Sweetsman - and I actually respect your opinion. It is more layered than that...yes fucking hump it every now and then and stop being so predictable (Llloris) because MoPo tells you that is our philosophy. I repeat...we have no Plan B. When it ain't working..Change it...FFS!! Don't...

Pochettino: Tottenham gave Man City 'massive gift' in opening goal

The Application of the players...is ultimately dependent on what the strategy is. MoPo only had one yesterday ..listen to the Lloris interview...very very revealing..."stick to out principles of building from the back" etc etc..so fucking naive compared to a team that can actually respond and...

Pochettino: Tottenham gave Man City 'massive gift' in opening goal

Let me enlighten you dear Sweetsman...and Archibald & Crooks (do not compare the assumed Plan B that you associate with Liverpool and Madrid as Plan B....neither were a Plan B...God are you that short sighted???!! Do you really think that is our "plan B" ...to suck up pressure and counter...

Pochettino: Tottenham gave Man City 'massive gift' in opening goal

Firstly...I love Mopo and what he has done and is doing for the club and he has my 100% support. But when we lose...his excuses and more worryingly analysis is way off point. He said the same after our feeble display against the Ar$e. MoPo...you HAVE to start finding a PLAN B against the bigger...

Man City v Spurs: Do they know it's match thread time at all

Chill pill. I think all the money in football is ridiculous. I applaud our values and wage structure. I, personally, in my world, hate it and do not believe the players are "right" ...but that's not the point...the point is...it is their world...their reality. BUT Life in general and footballers...

Man City v Spurs: Do they know it's match thread time at all

They key point you make is this: 30million on bang average Sissoko - should have been spent on wages for the top dogs. That simple. And it still baffles me that we don't operate like that. If your top player (Kane) is on 100k a month - that's near on 5 million a year....relative to a 30million...

Man City v Spurs: Do they know it's match thread time at all

I'd take a boat load of cash for Dele Alli TBH. And for Dier! (I'd keep Eriksen - but have him backed up and rest him more.)

Where's the sad but true emoji?

Man City v Spurs: Do they know it's match thread time at all

This is it in a nutshell. MoPo needs to grow some substitution balls if we are to progress. When shit ain't working...CHANGE IT FFS! Don't wait for it to hit the fan and predictably splatter all over us.

Man City v Spurs: Do they know it's match thread time at all

The "Kyle Walker" domino effect will be upon us. I am so fucking gutted at the moment.

Man City v Spurs: Do they know it's match thread time at all

Well....for the first time - I have to say we HAVE peaked. We didn't build on the Leicester season or last season. We bought shite, the squad is lightweight and MoPo is so stubborn with his team selection and strategy....that we are facing worrying times ahead rather than optimistic times ahead...
