Had his dad do a (stand up) gig at a little music festival I help run in Suffolk. Don't know if he's a Spurs fan too though!

Leyton Orient and MK Dons friendlies confirmed

Good news, two clubs we have positive connections with too. Feels a bit more like an old fashioned pre- season, playing some local lower tier sides (including the arse ?) building up match fitness before a glamour tie at the Lane vs Fiorentina or Leverkusen a week before the season starts.

    Dele Alli at Everton

I actually think there were a couple of needless flicks, but, viewed as a whole, they are forgiven/ accepted as part of a great performance. Poor opposition, yes, but he stood out and deserves credit. We often say it's all about confidence with lots of players, and this can only be a...

    Player Watch: Joe Hart

Great little interview. I like him - exactly what we needed. Seeing him with the GK coach at the end of the game tonight, surely waiting to congratulate Whiteman as he came off the pitch, was wonderful to see. He seems comfortable, almost happy, in his role and his experience, attitude...

Fascinating reading the OP. 'Only' 6 years ago but almost nothing remains the same. Hart and Defoe the closest thing to a Spurs player in that squad. Gerrard and Lampard managers. Ricky Lambert!

Win. If they get relegated we can offer Ake and Wilson or King a place back in the Prem. Forget West Ham!

Tanganga: ‘Month with ground staff made me realise how much I love football’

Really good interview, he comes across so well. Im not particularly religious myself, but Japhet's faith seems to have helped ground him in what must be a crazy profession to live in day-to-day. Delighted to read about his time working with the ground staff too, that must have benefited so...
