Forgive me if someone's pointed this out already:
The only thing that annoyed me about this year's home kit was the stupid collar.
HOWEVER...
Watching Defoe's interview after the game last night it suddenly hit me!
It's a giant 'Y'
And we all know what that stands for :)
Now I love...
A few hours to go and I've got it down to 2 contenders:
Gylfi Conscience
Naughton My Watch
I'll go with whatever gets the first 5 votes (or any better suggestions).
I can't decide.
P.S. If you think those are bad, there's some shocking ones that didn't make it this far.
I know they'll probably score a 98th minute winner after we've had 6 legitimate goals disallowed, but...
• They'll be without Evra (probably) & Rafael (definite). Width is where we're most threatening.
• They weren't exactly convincing against West Brom
• This is their worst keeper...
Rio Ferdinand has injured his knee in training. Capello says they're waiting for the results of a scan.
Now I'm no expert on these matters, but I'm pretty sure you have the right to replace a player before the tournament starts in these circumstances, right...
Was just like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2seAJsrtIbQ
There's a gooner and a chav who sit opposite me.
I've never been so excited to get in on a Monday morning.
Thank you Tottenham Hotspur.
I freakin love you.
I was looking at the 'which is a better acheivment' thread (finishing 5th the 2nd Jol season vs if we finish 7th this season given our dreadful start)...and it got me thinking.
The thing about the Jol seasons were that we were finally winning the games we should be winning i.e. against all the...
The last time we beat Chelsea in the league was, of course, the 5th November, 2006...almost 2 and a half years ago now.
When Robben hit the post a couple of minutes before the end, I almost had a myocardial infarction, but when the whistle went, I felt what can only be described as pure...
Who knows who's going to be fit for Sunday?
As far as I'm aware - the following are a doubt: Jenas, Woody, King, Modric, Lennon.
Ideally, if everyone makes a recovery:
Gomes,
Corluka King Woody BAE
Lennon Hudd Zokora O'Hara
Modric
Bent
If all the people who are...
I was just reading another article about how we'd be losing 40 goals this season if we sell Berbatov as well as Keane but here's what I'm thinking...
Gomes' tremendous record keeping goal at PSV was not purely down to his reactions and agility - it seems it had a lot to do with his organising...
If Keane and Berbatov both leave and for some bizarre reason we are not able to bring anyone else in...I love the look of this team below...
Bent
Dos Santos Steed Modric Lennon
Huddlestone
Bale Woody King Hutton
Gomes
With Bent's searing pace he could run onto all the...
I'm not sure what to say here.Eek
On the one hand these are about as homo-erotic as any pictures the club has ever released.
On the other hand it actually makes me feel that they're doing an amazing job of getting the lads to bond.
Happy to see Keane there enjoying himself.
Speaking to fans of top 4 teams over the last year the've mostly conceded that our full-strength starting line-up (especially now) is almost as good as theirs.
The obvious problem competing over a season with the likes of Chelski and ManUre is the fact that for every first-teamer they have...
From Vital football:
Tottenham Hotspur have received an extra £500,000 due to Dean Marney's promotion with Hull City.
Following the success at Wembley, Hull City have had to pay an extra £500,000 to the half a million already paid for the former Spurs player following promotion. The total...
Andy Barcham?
Tomas Pekhart?
Simon Dawkins?
I've heard very good things about the first 2 - there was an article about Barcham recently. Also I remember Pekhart doing well for the young Czech team last summer.
It's be great to see some Academy players given a chance to be in the squad now...
Just read this article...

Assuming we be beat Aalborg, going to Belgium isn't looking as daunting as it did a few weeks ago...
Anyone know of a pub that might be showing the game on telly today?
I know someone mentioned there's a pub in Hendon that usually has a dodgy satellite link...
