I would agree, neither parties in your above scenario are objective.
I don't sympathise with Evans. I would happily see him not return to football, as I think he is a fairly nasty piece of work, and don't think he deserves all the trappings that come with a professional footballers lifestyle...
The bit in bold here is absolutely key. Lot's of people seem to be keen to punish him because they think what he did was ethically and morally wrong (which of course it is).
If you don't believe that this kind of thing goes on every weekend up and down the country then you are deluding...
Could do the same for Harry Kane
Na-na na-na na-na na-na-na-na-na Super Harry Kane, Harry Kane, Super Harry Kane
I'm just going to say it, I like that a lot...
Level now with where we were last season. Comparing the same games as last year, we went on a run of 7W, 1 D and 3 L, from the 11 games to the end of the season.
Those 22 points are looking tough to get now
1 point up on last year after the Newcastle game.
Plenty of opportunity to improve in the 2 games coming up:
Norwich (A) 1 point
Cardiff / Wigan (H) 0 points
Important to get results in these two, as it's followed by the tough run of Chelsea (A), Arsenal (H), Southampton (H) and Liverpool (A)...
i like this comparison, so have updated through to match 25. Shows that we're not a long way off the top four over the last year. I'm amazed how close to Liverpool we are.
But 17 games is almost an entire half of a season, so of course we're going to have to play them all. In fact we're the only team to have played one of the big boys in the second half of the season (beating Man U), so we have a slightly less difficult run of games to come. (ignoring home and...
I just can't see this working.....Walker left back and then the rest of the back four in the stands cheering him on? However shift them all over a bit and you could be on to something (y)
This.
Let's be honest though, Man City are going to walk the title this year. I can see Arsenal and Liverpool dropping well off the pace in the new year.
Win the next two and we'll be looking rosy (big if)
If dortmund and napoli both win then Arsenal, Dortmund and Napoli will all be on 12 points. They will be split by the results between the three treams in a mini league. In the above scenario all would have the same points (as everyone took 6 points from marseille) so it would go down to goal...
Don't think that's right. Everywhere I've seen has said if Dortmund win at all, then Napoli have to win by 3-0. Only slightly more likely though, and I admit I haven't worked it out.
Guess, the point is that lots of other companies do it with high value individuals, so why not football.
Also there is a high profile case of a crash wiping out a hugely successful team.
Why do Argentina even bother with a new kit?
Also, Lamela should start, he's quality and we need his creativity and goals. Bring Townsend on against tiring legs
