Season tickets are up by 40% and the cheapest tickets for a single game are £47
I haven't got a problem with it personally, they were happy to see money invested in the squad by Briatore, Ecclestone and Mittal, and if they will still fill their stadium then they might as well.
It will be...
Lille OSC have just drawn 2-2 at the Parc Des Princes to confirm their Ligue 1 title, having beaten PSG in the Coupe De France final as well.
Amazing achievement on a shoe-string budget in a small stadium (They're building a 50,000 seater for 2012.)
Allez les Dogues. It's their first league...
Edit: Originally just a Sahin to Real thread, now a general thread for any transfer news.
Real Madrid have completed the signing of Nuri Sahin from Bundesliga Champions Dortmund for an alleged £10m fee. Personally I'm surprised that Utd. didn't pull out all the stops to sign him as a Paul...
With two games left of the football league season, some of the promotion places have been claimed, but the majority remain up for grabs in a big way.
Championship
QPR still haven't claimed promotion mathematically after stuttering to two draws in their last two, whilst Norwich went back above...
And we're in the last eight in Europe going to the Bernabeu.
(They took a controlling stake in December 2000, and sacked Graham ten years and two days ago.)
He brought in arguably the club's biggest legend as manager in Hoddle, and when it didn't work, he took around a year to sort out...
This season, he has been fantastic, 12 goals and 8 assists in 19 games. I for one am slightly worried for when we play against Milan about how we deal with Zlatan, King might be needed if he's fit. He's got it all, he's reasonably quick, he can head the ball, he's a calm finisher, his link up...
Arguably the best manager outside of the premiership, he got Norwich promoted at the first time of asking after beating them 7-1 with his Colchester side on the first day of the season, and has them in third place in the league.
Rumours in East Anglia are that he's been snapped up by Burnley.
Things just get more and more ridiculous, five and a half years, he can't be on massive wages because if they want to sack him it would cost them too much.
Still can't believe they got rid of Hughton for this guy.
That last bit I agree with, especially, kids this and kids that.. They're not that young any more. The excuses just keep coming and everyone knows it's getting old.
Also, serves Arsene right for talking about another team when his are cheating and whining, at least Mourinho's successful.
The guardian have some awesome photos, including Gallas' early tackle, the goals, and Gomes' save from Fab.

Anyone got any more photos? Obviously not Gettyimages.
I searched for it but could only find last years one? Am I just being blind?
I don't usually watch, but Stuttgart are 5-0 up against Bremen, this will be Stuttgart's third win of the season, the other two wins were 7-0 and 2-0. What an enigmatic side they've been this season.
Now 6-0...

 Gotta love Harry
Any SCers in italy?
Me and three friends have booked flights to Genoa for the Italy vs Serbia match, and we were wondering how to book tickets. We've searched on ticketone.it and listicket.it and found nothing.
When do the tickets usually go on sale? and how easy are they to get hold of...
Keane looks an absolute shadow of his former self, and even for ROI, who he usually performs wonderfully for, he looked lost. He was still making intelligent runs, and got in behind a couple of times, but looks so unbelievably short of confidence.
I know we've only got four strikers, and...
Saw it on Henry Winter's twitter and now on BBC

What a flop, I like him as a player but not suited to the prem at all, disappointed for him that it hasn't work out, but maybe he'll regain form in Italy.

Haven't seen this in any other thread, felt it deserved one of it's own anyway.
That is disgusting behaviour by City if true, and surely it works in our favour as he can definately claim restrict o trade against...
Live on sky sports 3 now, Celtic 2-0 down to Lyon, Arsenal vs. AC Milan is on at 4pm.
Couple of games tomorrow as well I think.
Lyon's kit is horrible, I haven't seen Bastos' opener but according to Talksport it was a stunner.
Lately on here, the place seems so unnecessarily negative at times. The Joe Cole scenario seems to have brought people down, obviously with City strengthening and Liverpool doing the same it's natural to want more players, but we've just finished fourth and things are really looking up for us...
