    This is so spot on. If you haven’t got the players to play the way you want, you make compromises to extract the most of out the players you have. I think he’s being a bit stubborn sticking to his philosophy when we clearly don’t have the players for it.

    A real concern is how he thought there was a foul in their first goal. Johnson was like an ovary trying to slip Cucurella and as the pundits pointed out, our set up was woeful.

    We’re too high on defensive free kicks I think. Teams are dropping it into the space behind and attackers are getting a run on us. Some of the defensive lines when free kicks are near half way are just absurd.

    I think the players have packed it in. CL has gone and 5th is virtually ours. Not saying they aren’t trying but they aren’t playing like 4th is a realistic possibility (which it isn’t).

    Yep. Only picked up 15 points from 36 from top 8 sides. Including the Liverpool game where we benefitted from the Diaz onside goal. Any half decent team takes points off us.
