A thread to gather the thoughts of fellow Spurs fans on potential mid-season breaks, following from this article by the Beeb:

Seeing a player like Son hitting those sorts of numbers, should Spurs be doing more to protect the players health better...
The lad doesn't turn 19 until September, has plenty of minutes in the PL under his belt and now a full preseason with hard game time in the Far East. Poch likes him, we should too.
However he performs, good, bad - don't criticise too harshly, encourage!
I think it's harsh for him to be referred to as one of the worst flops the club has seen. There are names need not be mentioned that I would not include Janssen with haha.
Good luck to him, hopefully he finds happiness and success.
It's a romantic notion to see so many academy players perform so well in preseason that you want them to perform well in the PL, dreaming of a Man United "Class of 96" style era for Spurs.
We would all dearly love it to happen, but ultimately as fans the closest we will get will be Football...
If you ran your own business (you may already do so), would you employ someone purely on their credentials? Would their attitude not be taken into consideration? Of course it would.
Secondly, providing conclusive proof of Edwards poor attitude is always difficult, I agree. However, there are...
? It's nerdy for sure. I was intrigued as to how much our fanbase has grown in the Far East. But a game featuring Sonny and Ronaldo should pull a crowd in that region, 50,000-odd isn't to be sniffed at. Kane's winner definitely sent them home with memories and cements us as the club to follow!
Albeit only one game, today has provided a wealth of positives for all involved at the club. Poch will be happy with the victory, work ethic, team togetherness and how everyone knew their roles.
The players, both academy lads and first teamers, will feel great to get some minutes against top...
I've had a good read through and used the search function, I have also Googled and looked elsewhere, but I cannot find the official attendance for love nor money.
Anyone ITK? ?
Which needs addressing?
A) The initial scouting of the kids
B) The development from youth to men's football
C) The gateway to first team football
D) All of the above?
I don't follow the youth setup as much as I would like, but I think it's clear that we can bring through players who are a...
4-3-3, rotating Winks & Sissoko, Alli & Son depending on opposition.
The variety of players we have the side, along with those we are targeting (Lo Celso, Sessegnon's) provide Poch with an abundance of tactical options we haven't had under his duration as manager.
The game is already balls...
1. We will win at least one trophy.
2. We will finish in the top two in PL.
3. Kane will score 25+ league goals.
4. Troy Parrott will score his first PL goal.
5. The Club will make a January signing, £40m-£50m, who will "do a Moura" and take time to settle in/get fit.
