Is a little bit of the hesitation about him due to the level of the loan we were able to secure him do you think? Sounds like he has done brilliantly though and he can only do that wherever we send him.
My Dad keeps an eye on Millwall and watched the game. Said Millwall were shit all game and Tanganga didn't make much difference. Positive guy though 😂. To be fair these must be his first competitive minutes in best part of a year.
Feels like a good loan. Edwards a good coach who is just starting to get going at Millwall. If Tanganga can string together 20 games in a row I really think he will impress. Sadly that is an increasingly big if.
He signed a relatively long new contract towards the end of the summer. Not sure how restrictive that would be to a move but seems to suggest he is staying at Rennes for at least this season.
I really find the "played the game" line patronising and stupid. Neville, Klopp and Richards have all rolled it out and it's fucking nonsense, they played the game at least a decade ago to start with and secondly I don't care if it's park, playground or World Cup final someone going in studs up...
With so much emphasis on the original decision there is always going to be these massive inconsistencies, where the ref is backed. Typically the one outlier is at Brentford where a tight call was overturned. Ultimately I think VAR will need to be stripped right back to almost no intervention...
