Poor guy, ACL, ligament and playing with a broken toe. Guy has been through the wars, hopefully we will see him back to his best end of season or at least next season.
Howe in my view would be fantastic as an international coach. Gets on with players, calm, able to implement a style quickly, can coach attacking football, tactically flexible.
no one is certain to win anything but Howe or Potter would in my view significantly increase our chances of winning the Euro’s simply on the account they are far better coaches.
Also they might become good with time. Poch and those players if they remain might in 2-3 years become decent if it’s purely lack of maturity that limits them due to their ages. The key ingredient for them might just be patience.
However Chelsea and their fans have been feed a diet of vast...
They have now had two managers with good records with young players and a attacking philosophy in Potter and Poch, if the next manager fails at some point you will come to the conclusion that Enzo, Caceido, Mudryk, Jackson are just not that good and they spent their money badly, very badly.
Kind of get the impression a lot of Chelsea fans are a bit delusional. Yes Poch isn’t Klopp and yes he is a former Spurs manager but I mean look at the crap Boehy bought. It says something when after you spend £1bn your best player is Gallagher, a youth product.
Some of these young kids they...
Gallagher at Palace was a warrior, it’s how he is, he plays with everything he has for the cause.
He is simply a Chelsea fan and would prefer to play for his boyhood club, doesn’t mean he won’t if he can’t get a deal with Chelsea play any different than he has for Chelsea or Palace. His...
With Paratici and Lange I think we could turn up the dial and hit well. I appreciate our experience with big money signings and Man United’s joke scouting but City and more recently Arsenal have shown how to do it and make it work.
Perhaps more stable than you would think. Radcliffe wants to play football manager, while the Glazer’s couldn’t give a dam about the actual running of the club long as they get their dividends.
If Radcliffe is more competent than the Glazers which shouldn’t be hard at all then the growth of...
Wonder if Levy is keeping his share and/or chairmanship. For good and for bad I assume Levy leaving would be the biggest impact for the club. If it’s just Joe’s big trust fund part going the change might be limited in terms of where we go from here.
I don’t think he did it for the money. I think he did it out of desperation to be a manager in the prem again, he was twerking for us in the summer before he took Chelsea. He just wants to work and he loves being in the U.K. and wants a big job.
I wonder if like how Jose seemed to lose his...
Only way out is for Chelsea to hope their Clearlake masters with Saudi cash overpay for players. Then again the likes of Gallagher and Lukaku would have to agree to play in Saudi.
In the summer Chelsea will get bids of £10m for Lukaku, £15m for Gallagher, £20m for Colwell, £5m for Broja. Everyone knows Chelsea have to do a full on fire sale come June and only players with FFP worth such as youth products are valuable. Unless the owner of a club is stupid nobody is...
Selling Nkunku though, that is Chelsea’s big hope for the future , the one player other than Palmer they bought for the billion of spending that is really good. If they sell him it’s an admission of defeat for that project.
Then to do it and you still don’t get anywhere near FFP compliance...
The way FFP works club trained players all the fee counts so if they sell Gallagher for say £40m then £40m profit goes against the books.
Nkunku is a player they bought so any sale is amortised.
Simply, they need to sell home grown to generate what they need so Gallagher, Colwell, James etc.
Summer seems to late and too much to do plus other clubs will look to pay even less unless Boehly is an idiot and can't see what is happening if he doesn't move today.
