He was doing ok but lost his way a bit at Dortmund. I think he had an injury, then struggled to find form in a team that was going through a state of flux with managerchanges etc.
I’m fucking off to bed as soon as the whistle goes.
This has been by far the best performance of preseason. Certainly the most cohesive and coherent.
The three Cm’s did a great job, but Eyoma deserves a mention too. Good game.
I think that’s a bit harsh, three kids (all more busy **** than creatives) playing against a strong Milan. I think their decision making - pass wise- has been pretty good, they’ve moved it quickly and vertically at times.
These three are all much better without the ball than Carroll, more rounded players, better tactically, but Carrol was probably more likely to play an incisive pass.
Brilliant little passage of play from KWP.
Once again our three kids in midfield are dominating this gsme. All of them comfortable stepping back and taking the ball off defenders looking for out balls
Just nice to see us with some cm’s with a bit of vim and vigour, who press, win it and then move the ball quickly, unlike the turtle twins we usually have in there.
Reason we haven’t created much is the front 3 were atrocious in that first half. N’Koudou and the delux Brazilian Lennon just keep...
Very decent half of football from such a young side against what is a pretty strong Milan side.
I really hope the 433 we’ve seen in pre-season is an indicator of Poch finally entertaining it as a format going forward.
I’ve not always been a huge fan of Georgiou, but he’s looked much better...
Don't buy it. We also saw pressure getting to seasoned international footballers like Aurier who could even take a throw in in one game.
I think these kids are more resilient sometimes because they've got less to lose than some of the more experienced pros. Poch himself said he owed a debt to...
Does it look to you like Sissoko handles pressure well ? Aurier ?
Honestly mate, most of these kids fucking dream of it. Crave it, relish it. When was the last time one of these kids actually let us down or went to pieces - any worse than a well seasoned purchased player has let us down or had...
The only reason it's not realistic is because we doubt Poch would be brave enough to do it. But I can't think of a single footballing reason why Sissoko would play in a CM2 ahead of Skipp (or Onomah or Amos). Skipp is better in every way. Even his basic control of a football is better. He reads...
This is a genuine question, but who would scare you more in a CM2 in the PL net season, Sissoko or Skipp (or Amos)?
I've never been CCV's biggest fan, but wasn't he the one that actually saved us a couple of times when our high line got sprung in these last couple of games. Like I said, I'm...
This is exactly why it's so fucking hilarious. This is precisely where a organisation built on greed, corruption and cronyism should take itself. Possibly one of the most inappropriate venues - both in the sporting sense and political one - on planet earth. Which is why it's so fucking perfect...
Bollocks is it ? Because violating basic human rights, en masse, only counts when it's your own tax payers?
There's as much evidence of 2006 corruption as there is 2022. England/Europe could have boycotted Russia.
Corruption isn't a state it's target? what's that, a an intellectually...
It's not though is it.
