    I’m fucking off to bed as soon as the whistle goes. This has been by far the best performance of preseason. Certainly the most cohesive and coherent. The three Cm’s did a great job, but Eyoma deserves a mention too. Good game.

    I think that’s a bit harsh, three kids (all more busy **** than creatives) playing against a strong Milan. I think their decision making - pass wise- has been pretty good, they’ve moved it quickly and vertically at times.

    These three are all much better without the ball than Carroll, more rounded players, better tactically, but Carrol was probably more likely to play an incisive pass.

    None of these three CM’s are creative geniuses, but it’s nice to see all of them happy to receive the ball under pressure, never hiding from the ball.
